A few months ago I heard two teenage girls talking on the bus and the other one actually replied to her friend with "hashtag lol" in the most monotonic voice you can think of. All the hashtags on pictures and posts sure get on my nerves but where has the world gone to that instead of letting out a sincere laugh you replace it with useless internet-talk. This makes me incredibly sad and it even bugs me if someone says "lol" to me.

There's also one phrase that really pisses me off in my own language. Normally if you agree to what someone says you reply with a "yeah, that's right". In my language there's a trend going on that many use when replying to something and the closest English equivalent is "well duh!". Well duh sounds stupid enough but in Finnish it makes me so angry because the choice of words sounds like the person is either very disinterested in what I'm saying or they think that I'm a total idiot. The intention's probably not to offend but that's how it sounds to me.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
