Space ace Yeah! The less successful cousin of dragons lair, now at the time compared to other arcade games this look the future but in actuality you were either moving a sick or pushing a button to stay alive.It may not be that impressive today but back in the brilliant era of nostalgia this was real special, but the problem with this it was a fortune to get an arcade cabinet so you had to go on down to the arcade with your mates to play this marvel of a game. If only you could play it in your house on one of the best consoles the S.N.E.S wait, whats that in the distance... could it be?

Starting up you see a magical opening with awesome music then the story starts okay so we have a blue guy who is staring at another guy with a girl in between them who then winks...at you hey wait what does she know that i don't! Then we get a green text giving us the background of this story that makes you want to drop the controller and watch the Fresh prince of bell air ( Now this is a story all about how my...)  any after that we dive straight into the game and, die. We try again and die and die and die and die and then game over well at least it lives up to dragons lair of having a frustratingly hard first screen plus I thought I was playing space ace not a side scroll er immediately that's a strike against it. Second strike look at the game-play, you run like your in a field of syrup and honey your jumping is to heavy but if you hold it you do what I call a moon jump... this seems cool at first but if you let go of the button he drops like a cinder block this is bad because you die in one hit and most levels have you jumping long distances again this isn't normally a problem but enemy's that instantly kill you are waiting so whats the point? You can also turn into ace but i couldn't figure out how to plus now i don't care. Oh wait i almost forget when you land a jump you hear pain WHY?
look even in sonic 06, super man 64 or any of these games your protagonist doesn't yell in pain it makes you feel sorry and like you don't want to keep playing and the final strike the soundtrack despite having admittedly sweet graphics the soundtrack is dull boring and repetitive plus its the same 1 or 2 songs throughout the entire game 3 strikes your out go leave burn it leave to rot alone.
