NVTaks : Growing up, my family has always put a star on top of our Christmas tree. I have never even thought of anything else to put up there. Since I was taller than my brother, my mother always gave me the honors of doing it. I don't know why, but I felt sort of special for doing it. I've never even SEEN anything else on top of anybody's Christmas tree...until I met my wife. The first Christmas I spent with my future wife and her family, I noticed there was an angel on top of their tree. She didn't know exactly why though. They've always been an "angel" family is what she used to tell me.

I used s type of Santa on top for a longest time, but lately I used a star until it wouldn't light up anymore, since it has X-Mas lights, so I use an Angel.

I only remember there being a angle on top of the tree once, it was a silver one. There was always a star and I thought it looked much better. Every time I went over to my grandma's house when I was younger she would always have a gold angel on top of her tree.
