1. 2D game- Duh
2. Series debuted on NES- Original FE with Marth
3. Main character on separate game- Roy in Smash Bros Melee
4. Farther, yet not far- 6th in overall FE series. The game is the prequel to Blazing Sword (7th game), but the storyline is set as a sequel.
5. Newer than SNES- Duh
6. It's an RPG- Duh
7. The console is fairly well known even by people who aren't from that generation.- It's on Vizzed, so Duh again.
8. Part of a long series- There are at least 11 games
9. Not officially released in America- It wasn't, but there are english patches for ROMs of the game.
10. Player's Choice was more than 5 years ago- Melee is kinda old
11. Not obscure- Path of Radiance sold very well and they have had at least 4 characters featured in Smash Bros games (Marth, Roy, Ike, and Lyn).
12. On GBA- Duh. I think it was released on Wii Shop, but that was only in Japan if it was
13. Told pacman to read my first hint- He needed to give the FULL name.

If anyone has any argument, I would love to hear it. I don't think I ever lied or contradicted myself, but I would like to know if I did

BNuge : I thought your clues were straight forward and easy to understand. I was thinking it was a Fire Emblem game for quite a while, but your last clue to pacman gave it away.


The game I choose is going to be easy to guess, atleast in my opinion.

It has the same master sword background  but I am just putting a big picture of Ganon on one side and Link on the other. I don't have enough posts for a layout yet or else you could see it :p

It is an  action RPG, and if you have played it you most likely know its Japanese name.

Its been 2 weeks and no one has attempted to guess what the game is, so here is the second hint edit.

It is one the SNES, and is part of a series. This game was only released in Japan, but there is a fan translation . Other parts of the series were released in America.
Some one better guess now! Don't make me post a screen shot haha.
