Hey and welcome to my Forum! Here I will be talking about the Retro Games I've either recently played or played when their were new(ish). This is my first one, and I can't really promise anymore but If I get some likes on this, or replies I will post another.  So on this one there just isn't much to say, I actually only have one question. Strider Hiryuu was a bomb. It only has 5 stages, and one weapon throughout the game, no ranged attacks, however your weapon did get longer. Although it was a pretty bad game, by the time I made it to the second level I found I was unable to put it down, and eventually reached the Boss 4 or 5 hours later. And there seems to be the least amount of information as far as an actual walkthru of any game I've ever looked up online, not one walkthru on any site that I know of. It really doesn't need much of a walkthru but still it wouldn't hurt to make one.. Maybe there isn't one because of these two reasons: 1. Nobody has ever beaten the Boss.  2. If somebody has beaten the Boss, they have never played the game a second time to write the walkthru.  So it leaves me with a simple question, how in the world do you kill the Boss?! If anybody has killed him and reads this, you have to reply, and if it involves hitting him more with your sword, I think you can count me out of ever playing it again.  5 hours of my life... gone forever. 

ScienceNerd82 : I guess there's some confusion. The characters name is Strider Hiryu, but I'm assuming you are talking about the game called "Strider"(In THE US) released originally in the arcades, then ported to the Sega Genesis. (I Realize what it was called in Japan, but that's probably why you are having a hard time finding a guide)

First, I would like to say, this is One of Capcoms greatest games. Especially in the early days of the arcade. Considering it was released in 1989, this game was head and shoulders above a lot of arcade action games at the time. Great stuff. The Genesis port was well done. (The NES version was a totally different adventure type game(more Zelda like) It was an inferior game)

The game is a little difficult at points, but I wouldn't say it's overly difficult. There are walkthroughs available. You just have to search for them http://www.gamefaqs.com/genesis/586497-strider/faqs/1291

There's a few things I request if you are going to continue doing these posts.

1. Create the thread from the game page of the game you are talking about. That way it makes it easier for people to play the game themselves and find out what you are talking about.

2. Please be more clear with your threads moving forward.
