From playing Tekken 3 up to 6, I've learned some of the most newbie typed game techniques.

1. Button mashing, you mash every button and end up getting power moves/combos (main effect is overuse of combos.)

2.Timed perfectly, if you time attacks perfectly. You will find that it is alot easier than before.

3.Counter attacks, when an opponent is about to attack. Jump, roll, or anything to get out of their way. When they are turned around, attack.



Well, those are just a few methods that I found helpful. All methods worked for me, you can use what you'ed use to beat this game.

fireking1058 : I found that button mashing doesn't quite work the way you say, especially when I played Tekken 6, though I haven't really tried the others. The opponents timing on counter attacks is often too good.
