I love to play a good fighting game and I especially love James Bond games, I have been playing various Bond titles for years, but a while back, a new Bond game was released, and I am not really too fond of it. The game, titled 007 Legends was released in October 2012 from EuroCom and Activision and was frankly, one of the worst Activision games that I have ever played.

First off, let’s go over the graphics for the game. The graphics are good considering they are James Bond graphics and there have only been a few James Bond games over the past decade or so that have had good graphics. However, the graphics are not that good when compared to the system that the game is played on. When the game had been released, the PS3 had been out for a few years, and yet the graphics for this game make it look like it was nothing more than a really good PS2 game. Overall for the graphics, I am going to give it a 6 out of 10.

As for the sound, it’s much better than the graphics. This is because people who like James Bond most likely had watched multiple movies and have listened to a ton of different James Bond songs, and are thus already fans of the songs. If you are not a fan of James Bond and you play the game just because you think it looks like it could be a good fighting game, then the music won’t interest you much. As for those who are fans, there are a few songs that are worthwhile such as Overture . Now I am a fan of James Bond songs, so I will give this aspect a decent grade of 8 out of 10.

I am going to do the story next. If you haven’t seen the recent Bond movie Skyfall, you won’t really be able to follow. The movie begins with a fight scene, Bond gets shot and falls off a train into the ocean. Then the credits roll and the main part of the movie begins and Bond comes back. The game takes place between the two points, after he falls into the ocean, but before he comes back. The game is basically some kind of a cruel mashup of events that have taken place in a bunch of other Bond movies and because of this, there are some complications with figuring out what is going on when. The story gets an 8.

As for the Addictivness of the game, it’s not very addicting at all. Even if you are a Bond fan, you probably will only play the game a few times before you realize that there isn’t much to it. The game does have multiplayer and that does bring up the experience a bit because every once in a while you can get lost in gameplay for hours with friends. Overall, addictiveness gets at 5 out of 10.

The game is fairly deep in the sense that the developers tried to mash elements from multiple Bond movies into one game, but other than that the game is pretty empty. The depth of this game wouldn’t really compare to other games that have been released during that year because, in my opinion, it does not look like the developers put enough into the levels of the game. For Depth, the game gets an 8 out of 10.

As for the difficulty of the game, I give it a 5 because it’s fairly like any other fighting game. The only problem with the difficulty would be the controls, but once you get accustomed to those, you would be able to breeze through the game.

As for an overall grade, I give the game a 6, which compared to what others say, that’s a pretty high grade. I personally like the game myself because I love fighting games and I am a huge fan of Bond, but once you break the game down to its elements, the game is worthless and I would not recommend it.
