Hey! It's me, TheFadedWarrior, and I'm back with another walkthrough! This time it's a guide on where each of the DK coins are. There is no actual purpose to these as far as I'm concerned, but they're fun to get anyways. There are 40 altogether. Some legal stuff: I don't own RARE or Nintendo, blah blah blah. Without further ado, the guide!

CHAPTER 1 - GANGPLANK GALLEON

Pirate Panic - I doubt you need help with this, but whatever. You know the stack of 2 barrels just before the G (in K-O-N-G)?  Get to the top of that. The DK coin is right there just to the right of the top.

Mainbrace Mayhem - I believe this is at the very end. Just after the bonus barrel, there should be a platform just visible at the top of the screen. Throw Diddy or Dixie up there and keep going right. There's the coin!

Gangplank Galley - At the very beginning, go to the top of the stack of barrels. There should be a hook on the right side of the screen. Cartwheel and jump up to it. The 3rd hook has the DK coin.

Lockjaw's Locker - At the very end, go to the left of the no animal sign thingy. Throw Diddy or Dixie onto the top of the chest of bananas.

Topsail Trouble - On one of the sections (I don't know which one) with the Zingers and the horizontal ropes connected 2 ladders together, on one rope ladder there's a mast just barely visible. Jump to the right and land on it.

CHAPTER 2 - CROCODILE CAULDRON

Hot-Head Hop - Just past the midway point you meet the spider dude. Directly above the giant 'Y' is the DK coin. Use the spider's webs to get up there.

Kannon's Klaim - At the beginning, go all the way right until you get to the edge with the 2 rats. Cartwheel off the edge and jump to get into the bonus game. Do the same again once it starts on the first edge and you should land on the platform with the DK coin.

Lava Lagoon - One of the seals (the one where the water rises when you get next to it) has a space on the right of it that separates the platform from the wall. Jump down there, grab the invincibility, and keep going until you get the DK coin.

Redhot Ride - Bring a barrel for this. Go to the N from K-O-N-G and throw the barrel at the top Zinger. Jump on the next balloon and throw Diddy or Dixie up at the coin.

Squawk's Shaft - On the section where there's only 2 of the hook guys facing each other, cough up a ball at the one on the right then go through where he was standing. Once you get to the edge of the screen go up. To the right of the bonus barrel you will find the DK coin.

CHAPTER 3 - KREM QUAY

Barrel Bayou - Past the first phantom overcoat guy there's a Zinger. Jump over the Zinger and a Kremling head will pop out of the swamp. Land on it and jump to the platform on the right to get Rambi. Keep going through the level and don't lose Rambi. Go past the No-Rambi sign and Rambi turns into the DK coin.

Glimmer's Galleon - You (hopefully) know the mini-game (I think it's at the beginning, but I'm not sure) that to get to you need to go up and follow a trail of bananas? Go to there, swim to the top of the screen, and go right. There should be a secret area with a large amount of bananas. Swim up even further and grab the DK coin.

Krockhead Klamber - At the beginning, go right and grab the barrel go back left and throw the barrel at the top Zinger. Jump over him, ignore the chest (there's a life in it), cartwheel off the edge and jump onto the dragonfly then hop onto land. Keep going left, jump over the Zingers (you probably won't, so make sure you have Dixie and take advantage of the short invincibility), and kill all 4 Zingers with the treasure chest. Once the chest breaks 4 times, the DK coin pops out.

Rattle Battle - Just before the halfway barrel there's one of those squares on the ground. Below it is the DK coin. Have you guessed what you have to do? You have to faithfully jump from the previous part of the ship over the pit into the barrel beneath the DK coin. It may take a few tries to jump far enough, but it's possible.

Slime Climb - Near the end there should be an invincibility barrel above you. Throw Diddy or Dixie into it and immediately run into the water. Swim under the goal and you should see the DK coin. Grab it and finish the level.

Bramble Blast - Near the end of the level, there's a barrel that automatically shoots you onto a dragonfly. In this part of the level you're supposed to jump on 4 consecutive dragonflies. But not this time. Jump on the first dragonfly and go left into the bananas. A barrel should shoot you up into another barrel which will shoot you onto Squawks. Take the trail and on the first fork, take the left path. Get rid of the Zinger and grab the DK coin.

CHAPTER 4 - KRAZY KREMLAND

Hornet Hole - Just after the halfway barrel there should be a hook at the top of your screen. Throw Diddy or Dixie onto the hook. Keep going to get Squitter (the spider). Near the end of the level is a Zinger above a hole in the ground. Kill the Zinger with Squitter and jump down. Kill the next Zingers and go into the banana-filled room. Using Squitter, get to the top of the level and grab the DK coin.

Target Terror - When you go under the tall wooden tower (you know the one), jump. The DK coin is hidden behind the wood there. Simple as that!

Bramble Scramble - To the right of the No-Squawks sign there should be a wall made of bramble. Jump through it (yes, through it) onto the wooden platform. Cartwheel and jump under the bramble jutting out from the ceiling and land on the next platform. Turn into Squitter. Climb up to the banana coins. Level yourself with the coins and go left through the bramble wall yet again. Simply put a web next to the bramble, jump on it, and make a short bridge of about 3 webs to get to the other side. Grab the DK coin.

Rickety Race (Coin Number 20) - At the start of the race, hold left to go backwards and get a large speed boost. If you get rid of the guy in first place so you go into first place, he will drop the DK coin and you will receive it.

Mudhole Marsh - As you have probably noticed, the DK coin is a reward at the end of the level. Have the cannoneer shoot a barrel. Walk to the goal, jump on the barrel, and land on the goal. If your timing is precise then you will get the DK coin. This is probably the most annoying to get, seeing as if you fail to get it then you have to redo the entire level again.

Rambi Rumble - Just after the save barrel is the room where you get Rambi. Do NOT go into that room, as Rambi will make this impossible. When you get to the entrance, jump up. Who knew! There's an invisible hook there! Jump once more and you will get the second hook. Jump onto the wall and either cartwheel to get the DK coin or glide from the honey on the wall.

CHAPTER 5 - GLOOMY GULCH

Ghostly Grove - Go to where the O from K-O-N-G is. Cartwheel right off the edge, but immediately turn left then jump. There's a barrel there that will shoot you through the DK coin into another barrel which will shoot you back up.

Haunted Hall - This is so obvious that it's sad. At the very end of the level, do you notice how your platform is hollow? Hop down (not onto the goal) and walk left into the little cave. The DK coin should be there.

Gusty Glade - At the section where there's one of those tall skinny hills but there's a cannoneer at the bottom on the right side of it, land on the hill. With Dixie, glide right when the wind is going right. If you go fast enough then you should grab the DK coin.

Parrot Chute Panic - At the very beginning of the level, fall down with Dixie, but glide. When the path widens, quickly go left and grab the DK coin. Now wasn't that easy?

Web Woods - This is another level with the DK coin as a prize at the end of the level. The prizes go much, much quicker though. Memorize the pattern and try to get the DK coin by shooting out of the barrel at the right moment.

CHAPTER 6 - K. ROOL'S KEEP

Arctic Abyss - Just after the halfway save barrel, go down, left, and up past the three starfish guys. When you get to the very top, fully charge Enguarde's swimmy thing and release it. If you're quick enough you should cruise over the ice blocks and get the DK coin.

Windy Well - At the part with the three Zingers and the least strong of the wind (slowest rising), walk off the edge and keep going right. If you don't hit any Zingers, you should get to the DK coin.

Castle Crush -  Just past the halfway save barrel, find the DK barrel. Jump
through the left wall and get Squawks. Keep flying up until it turns right. Go right and fall through the hole in the floor. On the bottom of the little room is the DK coin.

Clapper's Cavern - I think there's a minigame that takes you to the K in K-O-N-G. If not, you'll just have to find it yourself. Throw Diddy or Dixie up past the K to grab a hook. Jump right and grab the DK coin.

Chain-Link Chamber - At the part of the level with the 2 vertical chains and the cannonballs, go to the start of the chain. Jump right between the first two torches and you should go through the wall. Keep going right past the N from K-O-N-G and jump against the wall. Walk right just a little further for the DK coin.

Toxic Tower - At the part with the tall pillars and the Zinger at the end, jump on the Zinger and fall down. Hold right against the wall while falling and you should land on the DK coin.

CHAPTER 7 - THE FLYING KROC

Screech's Sprint - After the halfway save barrel, watch for an arrow of bananas pointing down. Go above the bananas then go right and follow the path. Spiral around the last bramble and grab the DK coin.

CHAPTER 8 - THE LOST WORLD

Jungle Jinx - At the O in K-O-N-G, cartwheel off the left edge and jump into the bonus barrel. Complete the minigame to get the DK coin.

Black Ice Battle - Just below the N from K-O-N-G is a ledge. Drop down and land on the platform. Jump on the barrel, pick it up, and hit a Zinger with it. Grab the treasure chest and hit the other Zinger with it. A minigame cannonball should drop out, so pick it up. Go to the G (which will be another ledge), kill the Zingers, and go to the minigame cannon. Complete the minigame for the DK coin.

Klobber Karnage - At the end of the level, go past the goal. See that banana? It's a minigame barrel. You can either get to it by the Diddy barrel or by a special trick with Dixie. With Dixie, grab one of the barrels with the Kremlings in it. Place it down past the goal and when the Kremling pops out, jump on the head and get to the banana. Complete the minigame for the DK coin.

Fiery Furnace - Right before the goal, the minigame barrel is above you. You can get there by one of those controllable flying barrels or by throwing Diddy or Dixie up to it. Complete the minigame for the DK coin.

Animal Antics - At the end of Squitter's section, use his webs to get over the wall. The minigame barrel is there. Complete the minigame for the DK coin.

Krocodile Kore (Final Coin Number 40) - Here we are. The final DK coin. Simply defeat Kaptain K. Rool to get the DK coin.

Thank you for using my walkthrough! I hope I assisted you in getting 100% completion!

Awesome walk through some of those DK coins are hard to get. The one that is always a challenge is the one were you to knockout those Kremlings off of their roller coasters. The ones in Gloomy Gulch and King Rolls Keep are pretty tough to get. Last time I played Donkey Kong Country 2 I think I had 32 Hero Coins

tornadocam : Tell me, in your opinion, do you think I didn't explain some of them well enough? I feel that some of them, take Topsail Trouble for example, don't make enough sense. But then again, those levels would be pretty hard to describe, right?

I felt like you gave good details. Some of them levels as you said are hard to describe like Topsail trouble and Slime Climb. But I think you gave good details that whoever reads this will be able to use the information to find the coins.
