   In some of the games I am playing the sound doesn't exist.  It returns when I save the game and load the game using the save states, but I would like to have it exist without me using save states.

What version of windows are you using? If it is windows vista or higher, then click on the volume icon, click on mixer, and be sure that chrome and the vizzed plugin is not on mute. Also, if you haven't tried this already, try reinstalling the RGR plugin and/or using different web browsers, hope this helps.
