Greetings fellow Vizzed members. Soon I'm going to be enrolled in several computer programming courses where I will learn the ins and outs of computer technology. With that I will become capable of pursuing several avenues of technology. This is not to say that because of this that I am soon to become the Hokage of gaming, but the subject of Hokage is a very important subject for this post. To start, Hokage (Hoo-Ka-gae) is a term used in an anime called Naruto Shippuden (just in case you've been wondering what a "Ho-cage" was :3) to address the LEADER and PROTECTOR of the all the other warriors and villagers. The reason that I'm bringing up my in future programming and an anime hierarchy at the same time is because of the image of a "Top Gamer" in a multiplayers such as FPS, RPG, and MMO, apposed to the protective and orderly image of a Hokage. Also I intend to make a game that immolates such hierarchy without the agitations of spamming, camping, and trolling (excessively :3.). But the main focus shall be based upon one lucky (or unlucky) player charged not only with leading but also protecting large groups of other players from threats and enemies that they normally would be killed by over and over like new comers of the game (especially noobs). Also much like during the reign of terror, given the 500 player group's majority vote of dislike of the leader and his or her choices, the group can choose to either violently or non violently overthrow the leader. Violently has a 70% chance of success by means of civil war resulting in a worsened state of the community and expulsion of the losing members. Non violently has a 30% chance of success by means of diplomacy and possibly intervention by other 500 player groups and results in a better community for all participants, no expulsion. This all boils down to the leader's quality. If they good, people are more likely to accept and ultimately defend him or her. But if they are bad then overthrows will be a simple and smooth process. The reason I gave this elaborate plot to the games mechanics is because I value the input and feedback of the seasoned gamers that I believe are on this site and really to make this dream of a game that is not only driven by community based combat and a noob friendly system that pushes for combat, diplomacy, and loyalty cannot come to reality without it being perfect. And the only way to do that is through understanding all gamers and not just the stuff that I like, I will take the feedback that all of you give and use it as the foundation of the a new breed of game that will give game a history and story all their own.
