killercroc0309 review-

U know, I never really got to know the sega systems very well while I was a child playing my favorite current-gen consoles. They never really appealed to me not because of the interface, the controller, or the features the sega consoles had, but becasue of the lack of blockbuster games they had. Sure, hate on me how much u want but let's be honest, Sega has sadly died away now into the deep botomless pit of crappy games. But then again also Sega did have that one character, you know who I am talking about, Sonic the Hedgehog! That was the peak point of their industry. It made sega's life so much more easier because now they had a mascot that everybody loves like mario for example, and could sell as much games as they want until some other popular character came along and stole all their sales. Sadly, that's what happened. In the later years of the new nintendo console the n64, and the birth of the sony consoles playstation, sega couldn't keep up with the tempo, and started slowly falling on the console industry until they finally hit rock bottom with the dreamcast, and vanished to making shaby sonic remake games that we both now don't sell enough. So why am I telling u this, I really don't know, so lets get to the review.

Space Game or whatever the title is:

Graphics: Sure they are good for a sega game

Sound: Nothing special, kind of raw and unoriginal? Still it's 16-bit so what can u expect!

Addictiveness: First playthough, ur gonna go through it again after u die, second time you die, not so sure you'll want to pick up your contoller again

Story: I honestly dont even know what the f*** is the story of the game, fighting alien things on a planet? Even if its to save the planet from aliens seriously, that's a s*** plot line, but i have to admit its more the game ur playing than the story.

Depth: Straightforward arcade game, no side quests or hidden treasures but still straight forward

Difficulty: Ya, all I can say is u won't be beating this game any time soon...

Overall: It's a fun game, but like most sega games, there are a lot of downsides, and we all know that sega has really bad downsides with their games... Still I'm not going to be a hatter cause it's a fun arcade game and considering it's sega, i'm surprised how well they can actually make a game.

Well I can't really deny that Sega's games now aren't that great in my experience, but the last line of this review made it sound like you thought Sega couldn't make or produce a good game before you found this one. I would actually suggest the Genesis as a reference tool for you. There are some pretty good games on it, as well as the Master System. I would suggest Haunting, Toejam & Earl, Theme Park, Bonanza Bros., Shadow Dancer (good luck beating that final boss), Comix Zone, Streets of Rage 2 and 3, and I could list many more. You really should check them out.

That said, I would like to ask you to try to refrain from swearing in the forums. I see the censor blocked it, but it's still not a good practice. Thanks in advance.
