As you walk down the lonely roads of Alka, you can't help but feel like you are missing something in your life.

It seems like forever ago, you left your life of chaos and destruction, and took up the good fight. Unfortunately, it only seems like it, in all reality, it hasn't really been that long.

As you pass another drunken group of friends on their way to a night of carnal pleasures, yet another thought crosses your mind. You wonder why you are here, what your purpose is. You've mostly wandered the world. How you ended up in a city of vice and sin, on an unknown of before now island mystifies you.

You pass a seedy looking man with a large trenchoat. You pass several hookers. You pass more still more casinos. Yes, this city is definitely not like any place you would have chosen to go to willingly... or is it?

Is your subconscious really telling you this is where you belong? That has to be it right?

More walking only leads you in circles. Alka is a big city, and it's so easy to get lost in the crowd.

You see a man arguing with a bouncer.

Now that we have 5+ players, I will no longer need to wait specifically on all players to keep the game moving. From now on, if someone doesn't post in here, they will be given an inactivity point. If a player goes inactive, they won't "die" per se, but they will fall into coma, and whatever they were doing will be forgotten. When a player becomes active again, they will rejoin the active list.

This is as much for your benefit as it is mine. I don't want a situation arising where one of you goes inactive, forgets your quest, and have to go back and read what you were doing. Nor do I. I have specific quest lines planned out for all of you in general, and it evolves based on your choices. If you go inactive, I will likely forget what I had planned for you, so it's just easier to give you a new story altogether.

Anyway, now updates will be close to once a day to once every 2 days, depending on when you all post. Somedays I may feel generous, and do more updates, but don't count on it.

So here's how conversations work in NDND... if it's a conversation between two characters, they themselves will carry out the conversation in this thread. If there is an NPC involved in the conversation, then I will voice them, by sharing an image, and answering your questions.

This is only for non-story essential conversations, as any and all "main" quest conversations will be done by me. So you two have until the next update to talk to each other. As this will be anywhere from a day to three days (I'll be away for a couple days) you have plenty of time to get information from each other. Try to stay in character and only say things you should know at this point in time.
