Right off the top of my head, the only way that I can think of would be to turn the music volume down in the options before starting the game. As for games that don't allow that...I can't think of anything at the moment.

If Eirinns suggestion doesn't work *like doesn't have in game volume control* click the sound/speaker icon in the bottom right corner *next to the clock* click mixer and mute the browser page that is producing sound.

Keep in mind ! That you have to UNDO that afterwards otherwise the web page will be muted from then on. I hope I helped

Eirinn : There is a sticky thread that has been around for awhile in this forum explaining how to do this. Although it requires you to have Vista or newer as your OS. It involves opening windows "Volume Mixer" where you can turn down the volume to certain windows/applications but keep it on for others.
