I'll take Poke'mon over Yu-Gi-Oh any day. I've always played and enjoyed playing pokemon. No reason for me to ever play Yu-Gi-Oh, personally think they got the concept from pokemon but who knows? Poke'mon's better when it comes to games from what I've heard, and I really don't play the card games so why would I wanna play Yu-Gi-Oh with these things in mind. Just my opinion though.

Pokemon was just a better because Pokemon has character unlike Yu-Gi-Oh, where you get to train them and make them get better.

If Yu-Gi-Oh has monsters that you lvl up and train with, the games might get more interesting, but the Yu-Gi-Oh games are repetive and boring.

I like the original Yu-Gi-Oh shows better than the overall Pokemon show, but not the seasons with the Kanto region of Pokemon. Those episodes were the best. Also the Pokemon monsters are better than the Yu-Gi-Oh monsters.

What about Yu-gi-oh? it's one of the my favourite games in anyway. Before, I used to hate Pokemon (Shamely), but now I like it better than Yu-gi-oh. But still, I'm going for Yugioh (Because I feel sorry for it)

Why does everyone say Pokemon? Personally, I always prefer Yu-Gi-Oh! cuz theres tons of strategy to it. The show wasnt too good, but when there WAS excitement, it was satisfying to watch. And the card game changes constantly, and you can change how you play at the drop of a hat. Plus, its just cards anyway. I know people that get way too attached to pokemon and name their pets after pokemon...

I enjoyed them both about the same. I watched them at the same time and they both lost my interest at the same time. After the Battle City Tournament in Yu-Gi-Oh and after Brock and Misty left Pokemon I lost interest in both of them.
