Hi Guys! I'm feeling bored now. So, I thought of making another Pokemon Review! This may be the most known pokemon of all times. But some like him, and some hates him. There are actually many groups of people who hates him, and I'm not part of them. Anyway, do you know this guy? He is cute, chubby, has red cheeks, and has yellow fur. Seems like you already know him. Its none other than Ash's favorite Pokemon (I Think), Pikachu! I thought of reviewing this pokemon, not only because of me feeling bored, but also because of a friend's request. Here it is! I'm making this review for you. Even if he is not a member of vizzed, I will be letting him read to read this and hope that I can convince him to join vizzed. Hope he likes this. Let's try mixing it up a bit by reviewing his appearance first. So, here it is: Pikachu's Appearance: Pikachu looks to me like a rat, a yellow rat that is (Is there a yellow rat in real life?). He also looks pretty cute to me, he is a little chubby, and has a pair of red cheeks that can store enormous amount of electricity, this also helps him to shoot strong bolts of lightning to strike his enemies away. Anyway, back to his appearance, Pikachus are notable for their tails shaped like bolts of lightning. Female and male Pikachus differ from their tail, female pikachu's tails is some what rounded on some Pokemon games. Pikachu's color scheme is better than his fully evolved form (No wonder Ash don't like his Pikachu to evolve). I think yellow really looks better on him, I don't like other pokemon game version that has Pikachu's color changed to orange. Thats all for his Appearance! Lets now go for his Evolution Stages. Evolution: Pichu-- His first stage. Pichu is a smaller version of Pikachu, I think there was more details that was put to into this. And I like Pichu's ears more than compared to Pikachu. Also, you can evolve him to Pikachu if happiness is maxed out. Raichu-- 3rd and final stage of Pikachu. I know that this is more powerful than Pikachu, but I really don't like the color orange on rodent like pokemons. Raichu's ear also doesn't look good for me, I think it's over detailed. And how dare them change the color of it's cheeks to yellow? I liked it before when it was still red. Anyway, you can evolve your Pikachu to Raichu by using a Thunder Stone. To Recap: Puchu --Happiness--> Pikachu --Thunder Stone--> Raichu I think you really wont have trouble on evolving this Pokemon because it don't need high level to evolve, just max it's happiness by using some berries, food, etc. and by training it a bit. Also, Thunder Stones are not really that rare to find, just buy it in some stores or super markets and there you have it! Your very own fully evolved Raichu. Moves: Learned by Leveling Up: (Moves From Generation III) Lv1 Growl- Starter move, this isn't really that much helpful to low level fights. Some only uses damage dealing attacks when in a low level fight. And I'm one of them. Lv1 ThunderShock- I know that this move isn't that powerful, but it's better than nothing. Plus, its somehow better than tackle because it can cause paralysis. Lv6 Tail Whip- *Woot* Come On, wiggle your tails! *Woot* (I don't really like this move) Lv8 Thunder Wave- Has a 100% chance of causing paralysis. Really is helpful if your in a tough situation, I guess. Lv11 Quick Attack- Who doesn't want to attack first? I knew you all wanted to attack first. Well, this move will help you with that. Try It. Lv15 Double Team- This is way more cooler in anime compared to in-game animations. This moves increases your evasion chance, and that's it. Lv20 Slam- A better version of tackle, increased damage, and.. umm.. Also has an increase in boringness and corniness. Basically, this is just a normal attack with no more extra effects. Lv26 Thunderbolt- Its about time Pikachu learns a decent attack. This attack deals decent damage and also causes paralysis if luck strikes. Lv33 Agility- Increases speed, what else? Lv41 Thunder- YES! This one. This may be the best electric attack there is. Also, this has a 100% chance on hitting enemies when it rains, but accuracy turns to 50% in intense sunlight. But wait! There's more, this causes double damage to pokemon that uses Fly and Bounce. Really is the best electric attack. Lv50 Light Screen- Who cares? I don't use this. I think this lacks in elemental attacks, only has 2 strong electric attack. Could be better.. Lets now move on to Moves Learned by TM's: My Top 4: Rain Dance- If you read the one I said on his Thunder attack, you would know why I chose this move. It's because thunder will be a sure hit after using this move, and there's nothing else better than having a 100% hit chance. Focus Punch- Pikachu's level up learned attacks also lacks on physical attacks, so I think this will really help. Dig- I don't know why I like turns that takes 2 turns to finish, but this is really one of my favorite ground type move other than eartquake. Let's Dig!; And Lastly.. Iron Tail- Pretty good attack. Plus, its steel typed and all steel type is awesome (some are somewhere close to awesome). And, this also has a 30% chance on reducing the foe's defense by 1 stage. Next stop, HM learned moves: Strength- You want muscles? Lets push rocks! Who knew that a small Pikachu could use strength. I wanna see a Pikachu pushes a rock on the anime. Flash- Really isn't shocking for pikachu! He is electric type, of course he knows how to use flash! No more questions? Good! Rock Smash- This isn't really helpful in battle, this is like just as strong as tackle. And we don't need tackle, neither do this.*Punches Rocks* Uhm.. *Fails... And hands hurts* Stats: Hp- Poor. You won't really be needing much health because you will be just wiping away enemies in one shot by using Thunder! So, this much Hp is really just fine, I think. Attack- Average We also won't be needing this because Thunder is not a physical attack, so we need more Sp. Attack. But, you will be needing this in some occasions, but its not often. Defense- Poor We also wont be needing this I guess. Because enemies wont be able to attack you if they're already dead by your thunder. Sp. Attack- Average This is what you will need to upgrade! Increase the value of your Sp. Attack to also increase the damage of your thunder. So, too much of this is always better. Sp. Defense- Like what I said, we wont be needing this if the enemy wont even be able to hit us. Speed- Good This is also what you need to increase most. The more your speed, the higher chance you would be able to attack first. And if you attack first, you will be able to kill the enemy earlier. This review, now turned into a guide on how to raise a better Pikachu. Hope you enjoy it! Tactics: In using a Pikachu in battle, you should have these following moves: Thunder- You will be using this often. Rain Dance- This one also Thunder Wave- For emergencies. Double Team- You Can't See Me! *Does Hand Move* 1.) Use Rain Dance to increase the hit chance of your thunder. 2.) Try to survive on your enemy's first move. 3.) Use your thunder and hope for the best. 4.) Claim your bounty! Overall: 8.5/10- I really am NOT a big fan of Pikachu. But this review really proved to me that Pikachu could be really strong if used and raised properly. Those things that I said was my own opinion, I really don't know if all of those was really effective in raising a better Pikachu. Anyway, do you have any complaints, suggestions, or any requests? Feel free to tell me. relinquish022 : I summoned you so that you would be able to read this and see if I'm doing a good job on making pokemon reviews. I hope you guys love this. Especially my real life friend who requested me to make a Pikachu Review. Go! Volt Tackle!
