Like the game it's self, which I first have to find being enjoyable, the same logic would apply to the Vgm's that are inputted and produced into the game. It would have  to be to my liking, if not I wouldn't remember it at all.


So it's very dependable on my end. But for the most part it's a yes for the retro games, because they have some really good vgms.

I like to listen to the intro stages of Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 and other Mega Man games. I think the Mega Man series has the best video game music. I find it to be relaxing

Oh my gosh, yes! I actually really enjoy listening to the music of Mass Effect. I downloaded all of the songs from the trilogy onto my mp3 and listen to them all of time. The music's great and some of the tracks are among my fave's.

I really don't listen much to background music. I usually listen to real music like pop and rock. I think background music doesn't fit that well for me. I'm just one of those people who don't listen to background music. But of course, you aren't the only one.

I'm guilty of listening to video game music too! Granted, I don't usually keep the game on, but rather, I look up a particular game's OST on youtube and just play that. I feel like you can equate this to listening to a movie soundtrack. The music is almost always wonderful, and it takes you back to that particular point in the game/movie/etc., plus other feelings that were evoked at that moment.

Most of the time, I throw on soundtracks for RPG games, especially if they're orchestrated, but as somebody mentioned above, Mega Man X music is great; it has a mostly rock sound.

The Genesis has an FM synthesizer chip (YM2612) that can produce a very unique sound that I love. This game is a good example of what I mean.

I listen lot of Final Fantasy music because Nobuo Uematsu is a genius and love his music. <3 Also in Legend of Legaia there is lot of good tracks, gives me very nostalgic feeling sometimes.

Last night I finished downloading Final Fantasy Piano and original music from the games. I also have all the Metal Gear and Kingdom Hearts music on my Ipod. as well as a few odd other songs from games. Some of it is just too good to not blast in your ears and bring your sprit up for the day. Such feel good music!
