What's your favorite planet? As meant for the world and space, I thought this would be a good question.

You can choose a dwarf planet, a planet in our Solar System, or even planets that aren't in the Solar System. So, be at liberty to teach us about some new planet full of diamonds.

Don't use this thread as TdV bait. Actually explain why you like it in detail. Do not say "because it is cool" or something equally vague.

My favorite is Jupiter. It's large, in the middle, and pretty much saves Earth from most threats.

ok. For me, I would say earth. Yes... I know we live on earth (obviously) and I know it may seem boring but... still, we can actually live on earth and it is a much better place to be on compared to all of the other planets in the solar system. I mostly care about living in the planet, not "How cool" it looks.

I personally think that Saturn is just the coolest planet ever, it has such graceful awesome rings and it is the second biggest of the planets in out solar system.

Here are some fun facts that lead to why it is my favorite planet:

1. It was the first one discovered by Galileo
2. It has thousands of rings
3. It is less dense than water which is pretty cool in my opinion
4. Wins on Saturn reach an excess of 1,000 mph which is equivalent to about 11 hurricanes on earth.



So those are some of the reasons I chose it and also because I had a feeling earth was going to get the majority of the votes, so I decided to be different and give recognition to this awesome Jovian planet.

Jupiter. It's just so massive and has so many moons with storms that are as large as earth I believe. 

Second would be Saturn. Only because of the hexagon on its pole. Seriously if you haven't seen it, look it up. It's perfectly shaped and everything.

I would have to say my favorite planet now is Jupitar. It is really large in size and I have seen quite a bit of movies about it and docrementarys. I enjoyed them and that's why this is one of my favorite planets.
