Once you beat Part One, this game takes you to Part Two. The start of part One, Chapter 9, ends up glitching, thus disallowing you to continue. I've tried both normal ways of accessing this chapter, through continuing after Chapter 8 and from the Main Menu, but both freeze the game after you look at all the conversations. The Player Phase graphic will appear, you'll see the map as it should be, and then the graphics glitch. The music will continue to play, but eventually the graphics get worse and then it makes a screeching noise. Thus, the game is unplayabel past that point. However, by the screenshots I have seen people submit, it seems that there is a way to get past this glitched part. In any case, if someone could rectify this issue, or tell me how to get past it, I'd like to know what it is so myself and others can get past this.

I can't remember if I added this hack, but from reading this thread, apparently that bug is fixable.

I can fix this and re-upload it, but I'm wondering if you can make a save state around the area that has the bug and send me the save state so I can test it? To do so, upload it at http://www.sendspace.com/ and then post here the link to the download page.

The save file Fire Emblem - Corrupt Theocracy.sgm will be at this file path on your computer:

Windows 8, 7, Vista - C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-207958VBASaves

Windows XP - C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-207958VBASaves

Or go to:

Start Menu -> All Programs -> Vizzed Retro Game Room -> Open Plugin Data Folder -> User-207958 -> VBA -> Saves.

I saw the way to fix it on that thread, but the link to the save file is dead. Problem is you can't normally make a save state where you can start Chapter 9 without playing 1-8. I could test outside of the Vizzed RGR, but I fear it will be the same result. It's kinda fun to mess around with the glitch scene though. Sometimes it won't screech. In any case, I really don't understand why it wouldn't work after displaying the enemies and map, as well as the Player Phase graphic. I have the save file in the link below.

Alright, I'll see if I can test the file from that link.

This can stay open so long as it's not spammed before I re-post with my results.

tRIUNE : Sorry for summoning you here when you're very busy with other stuff, but I'm wondering if you've found any problems in whatever you've done for troubleshooting this game. I understand if there are things of other importance, but I'd like to know whatever progress you have, or when you plan on looking at this.
