My first Super Smash Brothers game I ever owned was Super Smash Brothers Melee for Nintendo Game Cube. I really think that was the best in the series so far, and I hope Smash 4 will be better.

I've never actually had a personal copy of Smash Bros. The first one I had ever played though was Super Smash Bros Melee. I played it quite a bit with my friends and I thought it was pretty good. Those games are pretty good party games.

The first Smash Bros. I owned was Melee, and the first one i bought was Brawl. I think i enjoyed Brawl more because it had Sonic in it and Toon Link had a better moveset then in melee. I wish they didn't replace Roy with Ike though.

My first SSB was the N64 version. It's also the only version I've ever played. lol While I did enjoy the game, I'm not sure I'll ever understand all the hype it generates. I've also never been a beat 'em up fan, either though.  In fact, it's one of the only few in its category that I actually enjoyed. lol  I haven't played it in a long time, but I've been wanting to play it again some time.  I just need to buy it first.
