And it's very hard to have faith in such a 'lame duck' president who re-entered office with one of the lowest acceptance rates of all time, With every second term president having a worse term than their first.

Oh, i had some typos there.... i will correct them now. But i think he has done a fine job. And hell if he doesn't do good his second term you can laugh and say i told you so. But just wait and see.

Well since we obviously have different opinions on what it takes to have a good term I doubt we can ever agree about wether or not his second term will be ANY better.

But who knows, The only place he can go is up.

It's sorta the other way around John. He does listen to others views, it just doesn't change his mind. And he's not ignorant. He knows facts, finds facts, states facts. Your just using opinions, and when others use facts that go against what you believe, you don't bother really "listen to them" and call them liberals. In truth, your the ignorant one. And didn't you read his post? He said he couldn't hear it. At all. Not that he didn't want too. Poor debating skills you have.

Anyway, I'll just throw in my opinion quickly. Yes, that's too much for a party. Most people have already stated why, so i won't bother going into much detail. =/.

Ok. *sigh*..... Alright here is how it is. He is truely an ignorant person. He *can't* listen to it cuz he doesn't want to hear it. He is not open minded. He doesn't take in new opinions or anything. He just spews out his own views. Moderators (exspecially very active ones in this forum) should be open minded and deffinatly listen/read everything posted. He has a job to do and he owes it to the board to do a good job.
I really liked that piece and it was really good work. If anything i have ever posted of rush.... that is the one you should all listen to. But since most of you are unwilling to be open minded and let in new opinions, its your loss

I listened to it John. All 23 minutes and 2 seconds. I have to say that he's not the weakest when it comes to delivering what he has to say. But he contradicted himself a couple times. I wish I could get a text version to quote it but it'd be far too much of a pain to listen to it to find the two things that I noticed he contradicted himself. Anyways, I also noticed a pattern. Everything you say on this board agrees with what he says. Everything you have brought up has been something about that. Is your next thread going to be "Do we follow the constitution?" This isn't meant to be an attack, but I found this connection a bit disturbing. I could understand if you agreed with him on things, but you even have his nature of blaming everything on Liberals or as he more commonly said "The left". The major thing that got me about his speech was his views on big goals and such. He missed a huge and important fact that the little things CANNOT be neglected because they can and, more often than not, do come back to haunt you. Just because Clinton didn't have a grudge with Suddam and therefore didn't conquer Iraq doesn't mean he was too afraid to go for big things. Just because America wasn't attacked during the time he was in office and therefore he didn't start a war on terrorism doesn't mean that he didn't have big goals. On the contrary, the only big goal Bush has is something this guy of yours complained a lot about. He wants everyone(the world, that is) to like him. Get the support of the world and it doesn't matter what his country thinks, right? Wrong.

It would be nice if everyone in the world liked bush, but i know as well as you do that isn't going to happen. And our country voted him in twice and the senate approved the war. And i share lots of common things with Rush. I also get lots of ideas from him.

John, can you name for me one politician, Republican or Democrat, who wouldn't do that? Because that is what I don't understand about the Republican argument. I don't think a single democratic presidential candidate under the sun would turn a blind eye to terrorist attacks.
