FF1 is sooooo borrriiiinnngggg though. FF2 is pretty good though, and 3 is kind of lame. the rest are pretty fun.

I'd play FF7 or just go on to 2. Also if you have a PS2 then try playing X-2 and XII, two of my personal favorites along with Cerebus one. I'd also recommend playing the new one that just came out, it might be a shock to some but overall it is a great game, just takes time to get use to. Also there is no order you hv to go in, they don't carry a story from game to game, they only share the same name...
