Oh Cartoon network, where have you guys gone in the past months? All you have on your channel today is a bunch of terrible shows like Grojband, Secret mountain fort awesome, Problem solvers, and a whole of others. Except! There still ARE some some good shows left on the channel, Such as Adventure time, Regular show, Annoying orange, etc. Now one day I was just peacefully reading my book then my friend came into my room and gave me this game saying "I thought you liked the show so maybe you would like the game!" Now what is this show you ask? This show is a very old cartoon from about 2002, this cartoon is called Codename kids next door. You don't know how excited I was when I found out they made a game out of them! So let's just see if this is a good game! On to the review!

Story-7/10
The story behind this adventure is that Some evil super villain has been raising the drinking age to soda to +13, Then the kids next door find out about this event and are infuriated! So the 5 kids must embark on a big adventure to fix all this before Things get out of hand and they lose their soda! It seems the evil mastermind behind all of this is some dude named Mr fizz, so let's get onto this game....

Gameplay-8/10
Codename kids next door operation soda is your typical platformer game, This game will allow you to take the role of All 5 KND operatives, Nigel uno (Numbuh 1) Hoagie Gilligan (Numbuh 2) Kuki sanban (Numbuh 3) Wally Beatles (Numbuh 4) And last not but least, Abby Lincoln (Numbuh 5). Each of the Operatives all feel different from each-other, which is always a plus, For example, Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 2 fly instead of walking, Numbuh 3 Numbuh 4 And Numbuh 5 are perfectly normal. Each level is big long and has alot of stuff to collect, mostly bottle caps, there are 100 in each level and collecting 100 in general will reward you with an extra life. As the KND, you will be fighting all kinds of enemies, such as Elite rangers, soda monsters, and a whole lot of others, Sorry, I haven't played this game in a long time, So I don't really remember much of the enemies. As a matter of fact, It has been actually 6 months since I have played the game! That is a long time....There are overall 3 sections in the whole game, each split into 5 missions, A numbuh 1 mission, A numbuh 2 mission, A numbuh 3 mission, A numbuh 4 mission, And last but not least, A numbuh 5 mission.

Graphics-8/10
I'm impressed with Cartoon network interactive! They managed to perfectly rendered the amazing cartoon into 2D on the Game boy advance! The graphics sprites and backgrounds look all pretty and detailed, oh and they are colorful too. All the characters are easily recognizable, that is always a plus in licensed games. The HUD is just your average HUD too, The top left hand corner shows your current amount of health points until you lose a life and how many extra lives you have left until you get a game over. The cutscenes are pretty colorful and detailed as well, even if they are just a picture on the top and text on the bottom....

Sound-6/10
Ah the soundtrack, One thing you should know, This game does have the KND theme song! Perfectly rendered and everything....As for the actual game soundtrack, It's OK I guess...even though It can get repetitive at times, mostly the song that song that plays in Numbuh 4's first mission. The SFX....where to begin, I don't think there even are sound effects! Actually there are, but they are VERY quiet. But overall, the soundtrack is still pretty good!

Addictiveness-6/10
Eh, I will be honest, This game can pretty fun at points, but at other points, It can get repetitive, Mainly because all the levels feel the same (Except for Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 2) You just run to the end of the level, Collect bottle caps along the way, defeat enemies, rinse and repeat, etc. Like I said in one of my last reviews, There is nothing wrong with repetition unless It is done right! Yet after all that, I never did shelve the game! It don't deserve that...

Depth-6/10
I'm be completely honest here. All there really is in the game when It comes to extras is Collecting all the bottle caps in each level and just replaying any levels for kicks and giggles....For a licensed game, I expected way more...The game is about 15 levels long, so It will probally take you about 3-4 hours to beat.

Difficulty-6/10
This game didn't give me any trouble at all! I mean, sure there were some levels that gave me a hard time, But It's overall a pretty easy game to pick up and play and get through. I managed to get through the end of the game with about 75 extra lives remaining!

Overall-7.5/10
So after all that said and done, My only words to left to say about the game is that, It is pretty good for a licensed game! I know how much licensed games suck, but this one has It in the bag! I gave this game a 7.5 because How good It stands up by itself, so I suggest you buy this game ASAP!
