xandermartin98 : I play Mario games more than Zelda games. I say Mario is better because its adventure games are really fun. the Zelda series was really close though. the Zelda series is now my 2nd favorite franchise in the whole universe. it use to be Pokemon but I'm bored of Pokemon now.

I only like Zelda 2 and 3th was ok, other ones I haven't really played yet.. So my vote will go to the Mario.. I like most of the old Mario games, the first three and Super Mario 64 (and 64 for Nintendo DS) and also the Mario Party and Mario Kart for N64 were great games.

So the fat plumber from the Mushroom Kingdom is my choice. Almost forgot the Mario RPG that was interesting experience too, just like Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.

Man, this is not an easy question. Zelda is an amazing game series that I fell in love with at a very young age but Mario is in almost every game I play and those games are all great. All the Mario parties are ridiculously fun even if I lost a few friends. On the Other hand, All the 2D and 3D Zelda games are amazing. Mario and Zelda are my childhood but if I was forced to choose then it would be Zelda. Zelda is just gaining ground over Mario and I see more people excited over the new Zelda on Wii U then anyone who was excited for New Super Mario Bros. U.

Mario games are simply jumping from platform to platform. Legend of Zelda games require more strategy and wit. This is a tough choice because I absolutely love the Mario Kart series and Super Mario Sunshine. LoZ games are very fun, but can also get pretty annoying. Mario games vary, since there are so many unique games (like the 2 I listed).

Ultimately, my pick will be Mario games for their variety. If it were between Mario platformers and Zelda games, I would pick Zelda games, but Super Mario Sunshine, Super Paper Mario, and the Mario Kart series pull me more towards Mario games.
