egyptian military deposes government

I dont know if anyone cares about this but to me it was pretty shocking.
previously egypts president stepped down after he asked the military to put down the protests and they refused.
following that the egyptian army took control of the country, and the egyptians elected a new president. the army refused to relinquish control of the country for months but eventually the new president gained control.
now during protests against their current president, the army have deposed the government and are holding them in detention.
in other words, they have control, again.

this is actually pretty significant. they are a large country (80 million people), they have the largest christian population in the middle east (10%), a huge amount of world trade has to pass through egypt, they are right next door to israel, and there are islamic insurgencys all around them.
