Donkey Kong country, the one series that got me into platformers. I have already reviewed Donkey Kong country 1 and Donkey Kong country 2, now it's time to review the third installment in the series, Donkey Kong country 3. Will this game be a Hit or a miss? Oh let's just see if this game did great!

Story-9/10
Months after the Kong's second triumph  over the Kremling Krew, they continue to celebrate. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, slept in hammocks and chilled out with banana milkshakes, Dixie Kong would sometimes join them. During these events, one day, Dixie cannot find Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong, and assumed they were out exploring the island again. However, several days pass without their return, and Dixie knows something is up. She takes matter into her own hands, and without a second thought, made her way to the southern shores of Donkey Kong Island, to the landmass Northern Krempishere (LOL! PARODY OF NOTHERN HEMISPHERE!!!) There she meets Wrinkly Kong  again, and Wrinkly said that the Kongs had passed by. Dixie then made her way to Funky's rentals. Funky suggests to take her cousin Kiddy King along with her in the search. Funky lends them a boat and the two set off to find Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

Gameplay-8/10
Gameplay combines elements from Donkey Kong country 1 and it's sequel Donkey Kong country 2. As with the previous two games, the gameplay has a "Tag team" system with two Kongs, Dixie Kong, who returns from Donkey Kong country 2 as the main character in this game, and a new character, Kiddy Kong. Dixie Kong is more agile than her younger cousing and retains her Helicopter Spin technique, while Kiddy acts somewhat like DK where he is the stronger one (Due to being a young ape to Dixie being a spidermonkey) and less agile. Kiddy Kong can use his Water Skip ability to bounce on water to reach far areas. The "Team up" ability carries over from Donkey kong country 2, but has more uses. When Kiddy kong carries Dixie she can be thrown upwards to reach higher areas, while when Dixie carries Kiddy, Kiddy can break through cracked or loose areas in the ground when thrown.

Graphics-10/10
My word, the graphics in this game are quite possibly the greatest i have ever seen in a Donkey kong country game! All the levels, sprites and scenery are REALLY bursting with color! So are the characters you'll be controlling, they look very neat and polished. Oh well, what can i say? Donkey kong country is best known for it's amazing 3D silicon graphics. So of course i'm going to be praising the graphics in each of the games. Yet, some enemies still freak me out, like that spiny dude from Donkey kong country 2! "Shivers"

Sound-10/10
Out of all the Donkey kong country games, this one has quite possibly the best soundtrack yet! All the music is bright and cheerful to listen to! They also go great with the locations with you'll be exploring. Sound effects on the other hand, are pretty sweet too, you have the kong's little cry when they lose a life, you have the kremlins screechs when you serve them up with barrels, and everything else in general is just plain flat out amazing.

Addictiveness-9/10
Would you believe me when i said, this game will keep you busy for a long long long long time? Yes you would! This game has so much stuff to do, stuff to collect, it's mindblowing! By the way, the game has over 9 worlds to exlore, so this adventure will probally take you about 3-5 hours to complete.

Depth-9/10
Once you're done with the game, there is ALOT of stuff to do, for one, you can trade a bunch of stuff to These bears, or the other way around, they'll offer stuff to you. These things include, Bowling balls, Box of chocolates, Mirror, Wrench, Patch, Present, Shell, Rose, Etc. I don't there are any new minigames in this remake, so that is a bummer.

Difficulty-7/10
Oh yes the difficulty, this is what gets me most about the Donkey kong country games, there wil be certain levels that can really get me at times, such as those wretched pipeline levels! Where the kongs must ride on a kart through a large pipe line, and must jump over pits, enemies, and can latch onto the ceiling. This level took me over 12 tries to beat!

So in conclusion, i have only a few words to say to you readers, YOU MUST BY THIS GAME IMMEDITATELY, It is quite frankly the kong's best adventure yet! So, what are you guys waiting for? BUY THIS GAME, I gave this game a 10 because how much stuff it offers for players, for one it is quite a long quest, 3-5 hours that is....So that has been my review, see you guys in my next suprise review!
