Naruto Path of the Ninja 2 is a turn based RPG based off the anime Naruto,the game

features a unique story line which follows Naruto,Sakura,Shikamaru,Rock lee and others

on there quest to find the 5 mirrors of hope and defeat the evil Gensho

STORY-6.5
As stated above,the game uses a unique story not taken from the anime or manga,but how

does it fair? not to good sadly,its pretty basic by RPG standards and why that would be

find,they don't pull much punches in it,the biggest issues in the story are the

flat,cookie cutter,one-note evil villains,with little personality or charisma,Gensho is

BORING,Jako is BORING,but it does get one thing down right,they kick your butt through

out the story so when you finally fight and beat them,its satisfying,but back to the

story,its just your average "collect the mcguffin" style plot with a bit of a

twist,everytime you collect a mcguffin(mirror of hope)you fight a boss from the

anime,first its Zabuza,then Shukaku,then Itachi and finally sasuke

GRAPHICS-7.5
The Pixel-art is actually quite nice and the animations are pretty good,especially the

late-game jutsues like Fire tiger,the detailed battle backgrounds are MUCH,MUCH MUCH

better then Path of the Ninja 1,with that said,only the grassy areas look great,but the

valcano and other backgrounds are quite medicore.

SOUND-6.0
The music is uniteresing,not bad by any means,but disinteresing,"kung-fu" style

music,and the "voice acting" is hilarously lifted from the anime with memoral lines like

GAMEPLAY-8.0
Its your basic Turn-based RPG fair,but with more of a slight stratagy element,a variety

of characters and a "Tag" system makes it more unique,tags are basically equitment that

you can equip that give you extra boost,jutsus,elemental restiances and other passive

boost,its also a fairly fastpast game thats just really fun to play though.

DIFFICULTY-7.5
Only the bosses are hard,really,the dungeons are easy to navigate though and the random

encounters are easy enough to wipe out,even the harder stuff like "Ninja-Tigers" and

"Anbus" are surprsingly easy to kill.

LENGTH-6.5
Its a fairly short RPG thats around 15 hours,and while the post-game content is

fun,doesn't add to much to its length,but the game doesn't feel needsly padded,so thats

something.

Its a very fun RPG especially for Naruto fans,while the story is medicore,the battle

system makes up for it,while its not the best,its a nice little distraction that can

turn into a addicting experiance,check it out!
