This is for a lot of you Pokémon fans out there. I made this thread to see what would be your specialized idea of a Pokémon team, and it doesn't matter what generation it is in. Please just don't spam, flame, sandwich post, curse, and don't post anything else other than what Pokémon team you would have thank you for your cooperation. I will start with the team I would pick. My team would be this right here. Oh and give a explanation on why you picked the team you chose.

Tyranitar: Tyranitar is my favorite Pokémon and I would use him other than any other Pokémon. He has the ability to kick up sand storms with is power, and hurt foe with it he is a amazing Pokémon and to me is the best.

Infernape: This monkey like Pokémon would be great for back up when one of my Pokémon are about to go out and faint. He can endure hits while I am healing my half faint Pokémon. Not to mention he can use his powerful attacks.

Swampert: His ground type power would be a advantage for me to win not to forget that his water type powers would help a whole bunch as well as ground he could mix it up together to make a powerful blow and he can endure a lot of hits.

Aggron: He isn't up to having much speed but he sure can put up a fight with the strength he has and since he is a rock type Pokémon as well he endure a bunch of hits, and his steel powers could give him a advantage because it is also hard to hurt steel in fact it has powerful attacks along with it.

Honchkrow: This bird could be useful when he flies in the sky, and it is specialized at using dark type powers. Flying and dark those actually make a pretty good team if you use them wisely.

Sceptile: His ability to use grass to his advantage is amazing. He can use grass to cut because of the thorns on him. He is also another powerful Pokémon.

primeape : The fight in this Pokémon is really unstoppable. His ego will give him the courage to never give up and so that means if he lose he lose with pride and on the other hand he is extremely powerful.

That is basically everything there is to do and I really forbid any of you to use legendary Pokémon I just wouldn't recommend it so don't state them.

I would have to be my Team that I ended my Pokémon Ash gray Lets Play with:

pikachu : with a light ball this thing is boss and added with volt tackle obliterates or severely hurts many enimies

Blastoise: Great defense while with a good move pool can handle quite a beating.

Venusaur: when I fought lance of the Elite four in Pokémon Ash Gray, this was my last Pokémon sleep powder, and leech seed had made a battle that was all 10 levels higher than my team and items being forbidden, was able to pull off a spectacular and very close victory.

Snorlax: in Pokémon Ash gray Snorlax can learn ice punch naturally. With some leftovers, Body Slam, rest, Ice punch makes Snorlax a very good Pokémon.

primeape : even though he was a pain in the ass in the beginning he become a somewhat of a powerhouse of a fighter became really useful against a Blissey that I wasn't expecting while Lets Playing Ash Gray

Pidgeot: even though he was overall generally useless I would still keep this guy in my party as he is still much better than the disobedient Charizard.

Dragonite, Salamence, Alakazam, Blastoise, Charizard, Nidoqueen.

Salamence:  Faster and stronger then Dragonite, learns some pretty good moves.

Dragonite:  More bulkier then Salamence, can learn lots of special moves like Blizzard, Thunder, Fire Blast, etc.

Alakazam:  EV trained in Sp. Attack and Speed, to sweep as quickly as possible.

Blastoise:  Pretty bulky, has good special attack for taking out Fire, rock, and ground types.

Charizard:  Fastest starter, has great Sp. Attack.

Nidoqueen:  Brick Break is good for Nidoqueen along with Sludge bomb and Earthquake

This is the team I use on PokeMMO, and it functions pretty good.

I would love to have the following:

Salamance: A very strong starter to go out and take out the opponents first opposition.

Shuckle: many would ask why but his high defense and special defense will give me time after all 5 of my Pokémon are weak, to go back and heal them all back to full health, because trust me. shuckle will last forever.

Charizard: The current Charizard I am training has some of the highest stats ive ever seen for a charizard under all categories, he is very well rounded and is guaranteed to make the opponent quiver in their footsteps.

Scizor: I would only use him when the other trainer throws out a tank, someone who has strong defense and can do some hefty damage. I don't want my Pokémon out there being mauled down so I would like have him to cut them down at the knees.

Rayquaza: I know he is a legendary but that is why my team ends at 5. Very fast very strong powered Pokémon which is understandable knowing he is a legend.

The best Pokémon team that I have would be 6 level 100 charizards. How did I get so many charizards? With a ditto! Breed a charmander with a ditto and bam you get a bunch of charmander eggs. Level it up and boom you get an unstoppable army.
