Hi, for a while now I've been working on a couple of hacks of Pokemon Fire Red (one of them is really silly). However, I'm having trouble finding software for certain functions.

First of all, is there software for changing the title screen? I found software that claimed to have that function, but it didn't...

Second, is there software that can give the characters predetermined names, completely change the storyline, etc.? I can't find anything...

Lastly, is there a way to replace the music without using Sappy?

Thanks, I appreciate it.

You wouldn't be able to change the title screen without hacking it. Predetermined names? Far as I know, no program I've seen do that, other than obviously use a hex editor. Change storyline? Use a hex editor to edit the text. Changing music without sappy? Sappy is pretty much I think the only way.
All of these files are the latest versions and are clean, so no viruses, spyware, or trojans.
Here ya go:

Move Editor: A tool that allows you to edit moves. Including, name, type, power, accuracy, priority (decides if move goes first or last, a little complicated), PP, effect, effect accuracy, target, misc (Makes contact? I affected by Magic Coat? Is affected by Snatch? Is affected by Bright Powder? Is Affected by King's Rock?), description, and contest data (description, type, appeal, jam), which is for R/S/E only.

Thanks for all of those suggestions!

One more question for now: Does anyone know how to make it so that the character already has a Pokémon in the beginning? I've seen it in a hack before, so I know it's possible...

It's probably possible, but I'm not sure how. You can easily create a give Pokémon script. Like you can talk to someone then they will give you the Pokémon.

KnuxFangirl :
You can do that via scripting, learn how to write a givePokemon script. Have it activate before the player can move or something.
