It'sa me Mario! This game is, without a doubt, one of the best games I've ever played. This game was a game I would play as much as Star Fox 64, and Pokémon Stadium 2. It's been years since I last played this game. Thanks to Vizzed, I can play it again. This game has some ups and downs. Let's find out where this game stands.

Graphics: 8- This game has good graphics, but I've seen better. It isn't bad, don't get me wrong, but I think Nintendo could've done better with the graphics. Mario looks too basic for a 3D game. But Bowser, back in the day, was WAY better looking than Mario. Peach also looks better than Mario.

Sound: 9- The game has AMAZING sound, just not good enough for a 10. The music is so great, I hum it, even though I haven't played it years between the last time I played it on my real N64 to my knowledge of Vizzed. Mario's stepping sound is so spot on, it's crazy. Heck, even the sound of him jumping into a painting is nice to hear.

Addictiveness: 9- This game is addictive all the way, even with those annoying moments where you die a death that you thought "I should've died like that." Well that's life as a gamer for you. Just don't over do it with this game, and you're good.

Story: 6- Same old story, just different game. Save Princess Toadstool, aka Peach, from the clutches of the evil king koopa, Bowser. But you'll need to collect stars to save Peach, otherwise you won't get no cake.

Depth: 6- The game doesn't offer much. After beating the game and collecting all 120 stars, you'll unlock the cannon outside where you can go to the roof of the castle and talk to yoshi. He'll give you 100 lives and the triple jump ability. You can go back to the levels, battle bowser one more time to get a new message from him. Other than that, it's the same.

Difficulty: 7- The game isn't too difficult, until you reach Bowser for the third and final time. No spoilers, just watch or play it and you'll see what I mean.

Overall: 7- Overall the game has its ups and downs, but It's a game worth playing for newer Mario fans.

Thank you for your time reading this. If you liked this review, read my Pokémon Sapphire and Star Fox 64 reviews.

Nice review. There isn't as much detail as I would want, but I love the way you wrote your review. You probably didn't intend for this, but I actually laughed twice while reading your review.

TheFadedWarrior : I had to rush it, because my mother, I'm a high school junior as of this message, was like "Get ready for bed, you got school tomorrow." If I can, I'll update it. Read my other reviews, they're ALOT better and descriptive than this review, again as of this typing.

As another user said, you could have put more detail into it. I also think your intro fell kind of flat, particularly because you didn't lead us into a sense of what the game was all about. I think more passion and more descriptive language would motivate readers to read your work.

I think one thing you should understand was that Super Mario 64 was one of the first 3D games to have ever been made. Developers at the time were still experimenting with the look and feel of things, and to say that "Nintendo could've done better with the graphics" is a bit harsh. That's my personal opinion, but I feel like you should hear another side of that.

I'm going to disagree with you on another point: the depth of the game. I don't think depth simply pertains to extra things you can acquire, but rather, the diversity and the different stuff you can do. For instance, Mario battles in a floating fortress, a fiery volcano, a desert wasteland, and a sky-surfing ship. The vast array of things to do makes this game very deep, and I'm not sure if there have been many games that can say they match the variety that Super Mario 64 brought to the table.

I'm going to say, though, I'm impressed with your grammar. I think you could have put more work into the review, but I understand time restraints at times. I will say that you should edit and put more detail in your review so that you come up with a better product.

Man this review made me so nostalgic. I remember when I got my N64, everything about it was groundbreaking. I remember the shock, because I had never played a PlayStation, so the closest thing to the 64 that I had played at this point, was the Super Nintendo. As you can imagine, switching from 2D everything, to 3D characters, and world, and the great new sound chip, I was blown away.

But enough of that. Good work on this review here. It has a lot of depth, and detail, and is categorized very neatly. I can't wait to see more reviews by you. Keep it up!

Good Review. I think the review was good, Short, Sweet, To The Point. How come I don't have anything else to say.

freakyforrest9 : I do not believe that having a "way better" review justifies putting out a less-than-stellar product. In fact, I think that you would be more inclined to match the performance of your other reviews with each passing review. That being said, I'm not trying to harp on you, but to help you. Constructive criticism is designed to help people understand how to perform better in whatever they're doing.
