Game Background- This Mario Game is a classic remake of Super Mario Bro's 3 that came out for the Nes gaming system.The game was developed and published by Nintendo.This game has two games in one, Super Mario Bro's 3 and Super Mario Advanced 4. In Super Mario Bro's 3  Bowser's children(Koopa's) are going all around the Mushroom Kingdom and stealing royal magic wands and turning Mushroom Kingdom royalty in to creatures and it has gotten so bad  Toad has been forced to ask Princess Peach to call upon Mario and Luigi for help.Mario and Luigi must set out on another epic quest (either playing as either Mario or you can alternate between Him and Luigi) and chase down a flying ship were the thieving Koopa's have taken the wands and are bent on destroying all of the Mushroom Kingdom.In Super Mario Advanced 4,the game is the original classic game of Mario like you would see in a arcade off a Arcade machine, so if you love the classic arcade game or an older Mario fan and you have played the classic in an arcade you will enjoy this newer up to date version with updated graphics and colorization!

Graphics- Super Mario Bro's 3's graphics(facial wise)on Mario and Luigi are incredibly more detailed and by far the best in the franchise for the Game Boy Advanced system. The level/stage layout is far better and goes into more extensive detail and design background in game wise and quite frankly the best I've seen it out of all Mario installments for the Game Boy Advanced system.So for Super Mario Bro's 3 graphics I gave the game a 10 out of 10. Super Mario Advanced 4's graphics are updated and re- colorized to the Game Boy Advanced standards as well as layout and stage graphic designs so for Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave the graphics a 10 out of 10.

Sound- The sound for Super Mario Bro's 3 is what you would expect from any other Mario game. The soundtrack changes every now and again between stages/levels, but the acoustics and pitch are fine with Mario and Luigi's voices and Koopa cries as well as the soundtracks , with no abnormalities.So for Super Mario Bro's 3's sound I gave the game a 10 out of 10. Super Mario Advanced 4's sound has the classic soundtrack for the original arcade Mario and has just been re mastered and edited to sound a lot more clear (pitch and acoustic  wise). So for Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave the sound a 10 out of 10, for keeping it true to its original soundtrack and just updated its quality and making it more clear to understand.

Addictiveness-For Super Mario Bro's 3 I was very in tuned with the game, it held my attention as well as interest because of its diversity from other Mario games from the franchise. The game has a whole new style map as well as  new power items which only added on to the overall appeal of the game. This game had me up well over midnight playing and enjoy all of its stages.But the game does get tired some rather quickly because your basically playing over the same level layout just with minor changes minion/enemy wise. So for Super Mario Bro's 3 I gave its addictiveness a 8 out of 10.For  Super Mario Advanced 4, I wasn't really as excited to pay though  and beat that game, nor was I really addicted to it because its an endless cycle of classic Mario levels/stages, which basically got boring very quickly for me around the 27 stage.So for addictiveness for Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave the game a 6 out of 10, because I guess you would be addicted to it if you like the original Mario stages/levels.

Story-The story for Super Mario Bro's 3 is quite interesting because its not what you would expect from a typical Mario game.Instead of the usual story of Mario, Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach this time the Mushrooms Kingdoms royalty is being targeted by Bowsers children the Koopa's. The Koopa's are taking Mushroom Kingdoms royalty magic wands and are planning a(n) full scale attack with the wands from a flying air ship and its up to Mario and Luigi to stop them! So for Super Mario Bro's 3 I gave the story a 10 out of 10. The story for Super Mario Advanced 4 went like your Mario and you are stuck in the piping system underground the Mushroom Kingdom and are being attacked and pursued by Koopa minions and you basically fighting for survival.The Story for Super Mario Advanced isn't clear nor well explained and the story I provided was what I concluded from playing the game. So for Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave the story a 1 out of 10.

Depth-Super Mario Bro's 3 is a very long and open world game with plentiful levels/stages to conquer,especial if your on of those gamers who enjoy beating every aspect of a game.It has various paths to reach the ship on each world/stage which will have you playing the game for hour without end especial(once again) if your one of those gamers who love to beat every aspect of a game so enjoy!So for Super Mario Bro's 3 I gave its depth a 10 out of 10. Super Mario Advanced 4 is also a very long game, because it is a never ending cycle of classic Mario stages/levels that will not end until you die. So for Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave it's depth a 10 out of 10.

Difficulty-Well (sigh) the difficulty for Super Mario Bro's 3 is very low, because you can hold up to 3 items in storage for later use, and the Koopa's and stage/level difficulty doesn't really increase as the game gets closer and closer to the end.So for Super Mario Bro's 3 difficulty I gave the game a 7 out of 10.For Super Mario Advanced 4 I gave its difficulty a 10 out of 10,because the game get's harder and harder as it progresses as well as the Koopa minions and the layouts of the stages/levels.

Overall-Overall I gave Super Mario Bro's 3 a 9.4 out of 10 because of its individuality in level/stage design,depth and story which Nintendo keep it the same as its classic original.Overall for Super Mario Advanced I give it a 9 out of 10, because it lacks a story, but it makes up for that in depth, and difficulty, and Nintendo also keep it like its classic for the arcade machine, only making minor changes to its graphics and design.

I wish Mario games were more like this one. Mario bros 3 is revered as the best sidescrolling Mario
game by many people. I really like the power ups in this game, My favorite is the hamerbrother suit, although
the tanookie suit is particularly neat.
