Now the first resident evil it self is not only a great game but it also made what we now know as the survival horror genre, Resident evil one is a classic I gave the graphics a 8 because of the fact that ya now it looks like a bunch of blocks put together but hey I wouldn't want it any other way but back then it looked great but it was not the best looking game on the PlayStation 1 but it was pretty high up on that list, and on to the sound it may be just me but there was something just so satisfying about hearing the handguns/magnums going off but the noises that the zombies made were all the same, and oh don't get me started on the very cheesy but enjoyable voice acting, but rather then that it all sounded great. The game itself is a very addictive game and it my be just me but its fun to start with just a handgun and work your way up and there is just something very fun to go back and just play the game again maybe its just me but oh well the addictiveness get a 10. Now the story itself is not really to special the story is a group of special cops called S.T.A.R.S was sent to this mansion to find out what was going on but  the team that was sent there were never heard from so another team was sent in to find them but guess what they found: ZOMBIES!!!!!!! And well it does have twists and turns but I wont ruin them but most of them are kind of predictable so it only gets a 7. But well to be honest the mansion it self is quite big there's a main floor a top floor and even an underground lab and the amount of secrets and zombies in the mansion is a lot and really that's all I can say about depths in the game. And now onto the difficulty of the game the game is hard the controls do not fit the way the game is played the characters move like tanks and the aiming is bad sometimes because of the fact that the camera angles are fixed so its hard to tell were to aim and you cant look around a corner because of the fixed camera and it does take a lot of bullets to kill a zombie and you have a limited amount of space that you can but stuff in and the puzzles can be hard and there are some boss battles in the game that once again it might be just me but I kind of found them kind annoying and hard to fight because of the fact that the aiming can be hard to use. So that is my little review of the first of many many more games in the Resident Evil game series thank you for reading this and please rate.
