I have only played Fallout 3 (mainly because I heard about Fallout 4 and figured I should try one game in the series to see if I want 4). It was a very fun game for me, but it got old fast. I feel like the game is rather redundant, though. And the game's coding is a piece of crap, seriously. No quad core support? No Windows 7 support? They could have at least released an official patch, Windows 7 came out only a year after Fallout 3. I also don't like how freaking rare it is to find a good amount of assault rifle ammo.

I also really hate the lack of a sprint feature because I'm impatient and the scenery is far too ugly to enjoy running through to get places. So I installed the only functioning sprint mod, which replaces the VATS meter with a stamina bar. But you can still use VATS. Which means your skill points rapidly regenerate, so I basically broke the game by allowing myself to spam VATS headshots constantly. So that sucks. OP with it, unplayable without it (sprinting is life).

And the repairing system... I get it's realistic, bu who the hell wants to find an amazing piece of armor, only to break it within the next 30 minutes and not be able to repair it because either your repairing skill isn't high enough, you don't have enough spare parts, or it costs way too much for someone else to repair.

My last complaint is the graphics of Fallout 3. Everyone hated the green tint, so modders made Fellout. Amazing mod, I absolutely love it. But then you go up and look at people's faces. Everyone's eyes are clouded as if they have major cataracts, and every female basically has the exact same face. A hideous face.

But after seeing gameplay footage and reading developer news of Fallout 4, it seems clear that nearly all of my complaints have been fixed. No ugly green tint, more colorful scenery, better faces, obviously going to work with quad cores and Windows Vista-10. They even added sprinting!!!!

So yeah, I'm super excited.
