in spirit of sonic week that i started i say shadow is cooler. sure he needs hoverskates to keep up with sonic but he has a dark backstory and awesome chaos powers! and he lived a few centuries ago and was in stasis, so technically he IS the original

I prefer Shadow the Hedgehog because he has the same speed as Sonic, can use the Chaos Emeralds, is cool looking, and can use Chaos powers like Chaos Control or Chaos Blast.
