This is a classic side scrolling game, with a Roleplaying Element. You take on the role of one of three people, to take down the evil Death Adder. Along the way you will be tried and tested by Death Adder's evil minions..and there is no shortage of them. Now in today's world, the graphics are a bit dated, but the scores I have given it are based on games of the same time that it was produced.
The story, to me, is a bit thin, but it is more about the action then the story. Which, though addictive .. Can be a bit repetitive..especially if you want a high score. The controls are basic enough, easy to learn, easy to master. With the characters having various strengths and weaknesses. The Dwarf tends to be a bit stronger then the other two, but suffers from weak magic and limited reach. The other male of the group has the longest reach, and decent magic, making him the Middle of the road' choice. Ah but the female. She can be a bit of a harder choice, her reach is limited, and her damage a bit lower then the other two. Where she shines is her magic. Fill her magic gage to full..and she can lay waste to most things quite easily. If you want a real challenge, try taking her through without using any magic..but be prepared to move around a LOT.
Though it can get a bit repetitive, it is pretty addictive, and if you grab a friend it is a very good way to waste some time. One you master a few moves, it is easy to get a high score, but for a challenge you can mix it up and try different strategies, making it a bit more fun. Which is where this game actually shines..the coop play. It can be fun to compete to see who can take out the most enemies, or just have a mindless 'beat them up' to let out the days frustrations.
