I play 8 minute quarters with long play clocks that auto run to 5 when the ball is snapped.

When added to my custom difficulty setting (the base is all madden) it leads to realistic statistics on both sides of the ball.

Usually I keep it as its Defaults to 5 mins, or on occasion, I set it to 7 mins with the Accelerated Clock set to 15 or 20 secs. One thing I never will do again is keep it at 15 mins, that's overkill and eventually got boring.
