The games are working fine themselves, as is my keyboard, but I can't figure out how to make it so that the buttons on my Gravis Gamepad will function as the buttons for the games, so I can play the games on it.

the device is recognized and no problems on my computer, I just can't figure out why it isn't letting me set the buttons to play..

Evil Bear : This seems like a pretty old USB controller. Are you sure that it's detected and working with things outside of Vizzed?

Also, are you having this issue with more than one system in the RGR?

Positive. Everything checks out fine AND in the calibration section, within my Game Controllers menu, it shows response to all buttons and all directions on the control pad..

as for your second question, funnily enough, because of your avatar, I've only tried it on Clash at Demonhead, so just on a NES game. Nothing else yet. I will do another system now and see.

Evil Bear : Haha that's awesome. Clash at Demonhead is a great game.

As for the controller configuration the NES shouldn't be giving you any problems configuring a controller if it seems like it's working correctly.

Bare with me here as I go over some things you may or may not know already.

When configuring a controller for NES (and most systems in the RGR) you double-click the game window:

The "input configuration" window should pop up.

Click the "configure" button for port 1.

A "Gamepad" window should then pop up with a controller layout

Click the button you want to configure

then press the button on your controller that you want to configure.

What happens when you press a button on your controller after clicking the button you want to configure?

Evil Bear : Ok no problem. I understand how things can happen.

Sometimes users have issues with the Gameboy Advance/Gameboy emulator. If for whatever reason it gives you a problem use the "Medafen" emulator instead which is done by clicking "Medafen" in the upper left hand corner of the game window after opening the game you want to play.

Also if you are for whatever reason using IE as your browser, switch to Chrome or FireFox. Generally those browsers work best with the RGR plugin.

Let me know if you have any further issues and I will help you out.
