Ok so I'm new here, I came here looking to replay Legend of Zelda for NES, but I realized there might never be a better community to ask these questions to-

Quick back story- When I was very young, somewhere between the years of 1991 and 1999, my father had a PC and Mac with a variety of games. I can remember playing two games on those computers that I have never been able to remember the names of, but they have haunted my memory for quite some time now, like trying to remember someone's name that's on the tip of your tongue, except for almost a decade. I can only remember a few details from each game (being so young I was never able to progress very far), and I have searched high and low for these games on my own but I never had any luck.

I would sincerely appreciate any input that could lead me to the rediscovery of these long lost computer games from my childhood.

The Games-

Game #1- You drove around in some sort of vehicle, like a space ship or car, in what I remember as a futuristic cityscape. The car had a bunch of weapons like lazers and these bombs that were used to destroy other vehicles and flying crafts. I think you could pilot the vehicle around the city yourself or put it on autopilot. At certain points you were given the opportunity to upgrade your weapons/vehicle. I distinctly remember that you could upgrade the bombs, which by default just exploded where ever they landed and did some damage, to these bombs that would explode and scatter numerous smaller explosives all over doing even more damage. In the beginning of the game there was a character select screen where you could choose between something like 6-8 different pilots for your vehicle. Some of the pilots said some curse words which I thought was cool when I was so little. I think I remember one punkish female pilot that would say something like "Who pissed in his cereal?" during the combat. I vaguely remember there was some sort of central bad guy that you were fighting against. I can also remember that you fought against vehicles/crafts on the ground and in the air simultaneously, like you'd be shooting at enemies on the streets when a flying plane of some sort would start flying towards the screen, and I remember them being easy pray to my lazers.

Game #2- This one is perhaps a more vague memory than the other now, because I remember hardly being able to progress through this game at all. What I do remember is that is was a first person view, and it was a shooter of some kind. I remember being in some sort of corridor setting, and I think it was sort of a futuristic setting because I think you fought against aliens or robots of some kind. You began without any weapons or armor, but there was a weapon available somewhere in the initial part of the game (my father always told me it was in a desk drawer, since he had played the game some) but I could never find it. I think you could search in desks and lockers for items.

The part I remember most is this- There was some sort of guard, like a soldier, that wouldn't let you into a certain room/corridor unless you had a weapon and armor. The armor was available in a locker, but I could never find a weapon. I think there was one occasion where I did manage to find the weapons and armor, the guard let me through, and I was on some kind of elevator, which opened up and let me wander around some more corridors, and soon I was confronted with an enemy which quickly killed me, some kind of robot or alien. I remember there was a blood spatter effect on the screen when I got hit, and when I hit the enemy because it scared me when I was that little (lols). I also remember that on the walls in the first part, before the areas with enemies, there were some kind of computer terminals you could interact with that gave you more information about items and enemies or something along those lines.

It might be interesting to note that the search for this game led me to the discovery of the System Shock series. I actually bought system Shock 2 like 5 or 6 years ago because I thought it might have been the game. It wasn't, but I did fall in love with that game and it's now one of my all time favorites and I still play through it occasionally.

I realize these details are all so vague, but my hope is that there's some gamers a bit older than myself on this site who might remember the name of these games. There's a few other details I might post but I'll hold off until I see a few responses, because I don't want to confuse people with information I don't remember well at all.
