Welcome to the Vizzed Second Semi-Annual Rap Battle Tournament! This is the thread where the rap battle tournament will commence. As stated in the registration thread, NotJon will face GuardianZack in the preliminary round (I'm sorry it has to be this way but I did hope for more activity). The winner of that matchup will face mitchelw in the top 4. Below shows how the tournament will go.

This is just a recap of the rules for the tournament:
Judging
 a) All judges must be active. I will summon the judges after every matchup to decide the winner. They competitor who has the majority of the votes wins and advances to the next round. The loser gets the prize available for the losers that round.
 b) Judges can only post after I summon them to determine the winner of a matchup.
 c) The judges will receive 1000 Viz at the conclusion of the tournament.

Contestants
 a) If a contestant wins, then they advance to the next round. If they lose, they get the Viz rewarded for that round to losers and are no longer allowed to post until the end of the tournament.
 b) Only the two competitors in the matchup can post to post their rap. No one is allowed to interrupt their raps until after the matchup is over. Any contestant who breaks this rule three times will be disqualified from the tournament and will only receive the Viz from the last round (for example if they advanced to the semifinals and broke this rule 3 times, they’d receive the amount of Viz that the losers of the quarterfinals received). If they break this rule in the first round than they will receive the same amount of Viz the rest of the losers of the first round receive.
 c) No flaming or curse words (I’ll allow certain words such as hell and ass but not f**k). Any contestant who breaks this rule will be eliminated and will receive the Viz from the last round (refer to the example in 3b). If they break this rule in the first round than they will receive half the amount of Viz the rest of the losers of the first round receive(so 250 viz).
 d) A contestant has 24 hours to post their rap. If they fail to do so I will send a PM reminding them to do so. If they fail to post their rap 24 hours after I sent the PM they will be disqualified from the tournament and will not be allowed to post in the thread until the tournament is over. They will also only receive the Viz prize that the losers from the first round received.
Since there are only 5 people who decided to participate, the Viz prizes will be different:
- The loser of the preliminary matchup and the top 4 matchups receive 2500 viz
- The runner up receives 5000 viz
- the winner receives 10000 viz
Raps must be at least 16 lines but no longer than 32 raps (Both quality and quantity matter when posting raps.
