id say emerald is the best cause you can get all three legendaries and you have an incedibly big world to explore. the legendary pokemon in this game are much more worth it too. i mean come on. mew vs groudon with max health and his move eruption. plus he's already got sunny day. death to all others from the r/s/e pokemon

It was a tough choice between yellow and crystal. The one thing better about yellow is you can get the original 3 starters. But crystal is pretty great because it has red/blue built in for more gameplay. Yes with that logic emerald would be best, however it is just getting to weird on the pokemon after generation II. Gen III was pushing it everything after that is ridiculously unnecessary. Remakes of the original 3 gens would of been fine rather then creating new pokemon by changing 1 letter lol.

All are amazing. Pokemon is still the best. (For me). Today, Pokemon black and white came out in the uk. I bought 'em both. Gotta buy 'em all! Haha. I have almost got my third badge in black and almost to my second in White. This game is so addictive. I will never start to hate pokemon.

Very difficult, because I like the updates with the new games, but I also kind of prefer the rustic quality of the old games' sound and graphics. I suppose one of the Kanto ones, since it's my favorite region. The new ones update and add new features but they lack the nostalgia of the older games, which is a lot for me. Got to go with the older ones.

The best one is crystral version. Taking place 3 years after Red beats Team Rocket time rocket time and time again now they are tring to reform again since there boss disappered after the 8th gym. Plus you can go back to the first gen and Blue is the new 8th gym leader!
