Sonic CD++ Review!

-ABOUT- 

     You are probibly wondering what Sonic CD++ is right? Well, It is( oviouslly) Sonic CD with two added features,The Sonic 2 Spin-Dash and the Sonic Megamix (hack) Air-Dash/Homing attack. It all started with snkenjoi, (a Sonic hacker) who knew about an offer that Mad Enchida made that



gave 100$ to anyone who could port the Sonic 2 spin-dash into Sonic CD. To get this done he persuaded qiuu to do it for him. But after a while, snkenjoi (seeing the progerss of the hack) decided to get involved. 
     Even though the Hack took only a week to make, most of the time was used squashing bugs and fixing problems. At the end of the hacking process they decided to add the air roll (when in the air press A to get into a ball) whitch took only 20 minutes. Now, enough of me yaking on about nothing, on to the review!

-GRAPHICS-


    Just like Sonic CD the graphics are clean and polished, not crude like others for the system. The graphics are pretty, period. 9


-ADDICTIVENESS-

     The addictiveness is high on this one because of the air dash and homing attack, it really helps the game a lot! I mean a lot! I just wonder how much faster you can beat the game with these new moves! 8 

-SOUND- 

 Sadly, the Sound had to be taken out o this game because of compatability issues with other regions, so all the tunes (except the past tunes had to be removed. 5  (But if you go to the start menu on you Computer, Type in Vizzed and click on the open data plugin folder > open ROM's > Sonic CD or Sonic CD (U) > and select any of the tunes to play while playing the game.  
 
 -STORY-
 
    The story is simple Sonic takes Amy to crystal lake to See the once a year event of Tiny planet's hovering over crystal lake. Whe they gat there Sonic is amazed to see that the beautiful lake is in ruins and Tiny Planet is covered in metal! Eggman shows up and laughs "Sonic Tiny planet is now mine, ho, ho, ho!" and he takes any off to the planet. Your 'job" is to rescue her. 6 
 
 -DEPTH - 
 
     The depth is fair on this ame, There are 8 Zones, each Zone has 3 acts and each act (except act 3) has 4 Time-Zones So that's a lot of levels! and there is a Time attack mode where you can tackle individual levels for the best time. (this can be done for the special stages if you get a good enough time in normal time attack) So I give it an 8. 
 
 -OVERALL- 
 Sonic CD is big and bad, It was a nice game, it just lacked levels (no, time-zones don't count) It is a sega CD for heavens sake! just give us some levels forever-more! and that would make the game perfect.  7.8
