When i first played this game,i was expecting some RPG gameplay...but this game is nothing like that! It is a platformer very similar to Megaman 7 and 8,except with the added feature of you being able to equip and use battle chips that have various effects. Such effects include dealing a lot of damage,recovering your own HP,freezing enemies,etc. This adds a nice extra touch of replayability to the game.
But even so,it has nothing special in it. What realty bugs-me though is that you have 9 lifes in this game. You know,Megaman is not a cat...(got it?),but,why so many lifes? Does the game gets so hard? Or,are there annoyning parts in the game? The answer is,yes,the game becomes rather hard,and there are many annoyning moments in the game. Such moments include timing your jumps so that you don't fall into spikes,dealing with cheap enemies with no way of avoiding their attacks,and the list goes on.
The bosses are not really as annoyning as the cheap enemies,and when you defeat them,you will get new Battle Forms,which will change your element and attack. You can switch between those battle forms freely. It is a nice game if you're looking for a platformer based on the Megaman NT series. I'd say this game is much easier than the usual Megaman games,but sometimes,you will have to put on your thinking cap. Play this game just for the sake of playing a new platformer. If you are a Megaman Fan,then that's good for you.
