I'm wondering what you think about 343's Halo 4.  I've been playing it and I like it a lot.  However there are some things I think they could improve on.  Here are some of my ideas.

1.  Ordnance Drops

Ordnance Drops are a very nice feature of Halo 4.  They're really a breath of fresh air.  Sometimes, though, they're just unfair.  I play
BTB a lot, otherwise know an BTIS.  Whenever I receive an Ordnance Drop it always seems to be a choice between a Needler and
a Gravity Hammer.  I normally wouldn't care about something like this but the other players on my team and the opposing team all
seem to recieve Binary Rifles, Incereration Cannons, and Sniper Rifles.  I feel that perhaps a kind of "choose your own ordnance prior
to fighting" feature should be included.  In the loadout menu you could chose what ordnance you'd like to receive.  The better the
weapon, the more points it should require.

3.  Primary Weapons

I enjoy creating custom loadouts and spawning with my primary weapon of choice, but the DMR is just too good compared to the other
precision rifles.  The Carbine takes entirely too many shots to kill and the BR just isn't accurate enough.  The BR and DMR both need
five shots to kill a player as well.  In previous Halo games the BR only needed four complete bursts to kill a player.  I don't know if the
DMR should be nerfed or the BR and Carbine should be buffed, but there is definitely something in there that needs tweaking.

4.  The Maps

The maps that Halo 4 has to offer are rather boring to play on.  There are a couple that I like, but the majority I really dislike.  Most
maps have too much cover.  It's kind of a silly complaint but I feel that every player is always a few steps away from cover.  The only
map that really has open areas is Complex, but even that map is bland.  Too much cover leads too popping and shooting with the
precision rifles until someone finally loses patience and retreats or some comes around with a power weapon.

This is solely my opinion.  I love Halo 4 and the Halo series and have been playing them competitively since the beginning.  I've only posted four complaints.  My post would be much longer if I posted what I enjoyed about the game.  I'm just bringing this to attention even thought I'm sure many others have already discussed this.

Let me know what you think.

I think you skipped 2.

The only thing that I have a problem with about Halo 4 is the scarcity of ammo in the campaign unless you use Promethean weapons.

Well, I don't have Halo 4. I got Black Ops 2 ,but from the walk through I've seen it looks pretty good.

I've honestly only had 2 real issues with the new game.

1. The game feels like it wasn't long enough. I was able to beat is MUCH faster than I would have liked.
2. More importantly, I was able to play on legendary without any real trouble. Legendary in this game felt like Normal in the other halo games. There was no real difficulty to it.

That being said, I loved what they did with the story line.

So far I like the game. Not as much as Halo 3 but that might be because I'm not as familiar with the maps yet. I've played the campaign twice on heroic. The first time was solo and the second was with my brother. The only complaint I have about the campaign is piloting the Broadsword in Co-op on mission 8. When your partner crashes into something, your screen shakes to the point you can't see where your driving and I've ended up crashing way too many times because of it.

For matchmaking I usually play BTIS. I have yet to use the DMR. I normally stick with the Battle Rifle or the Covenant Carbine for more rapid fire from  a distance. I'm still trying to familiarize myself with the new maps.
