I have re-played this game in a rough estimate 35-40 times on the hardest difficulty. I have this game infected Obsessive Compulsive Disorder about it. I have re-played it so much because I treat all my character like my children. [ Weird? Nah. ] I first decide if I want too play with all ground troop, flying troops, "hidden treasures" [ Weak but grows the strongest at end-game or earlier if you boost ] Or if I want a mixture of all. I forced myself too quit using the characters that no matter I always used like Boyd, Oscar, Jill etc.. the last couple times I played and it made it a bit more challenging/fun. Too make it a bit more difficult I tried too use lower tier weapons but that can happen only so far into the game unless I got a obviously good group with the scrolls and other factors thrown in. You can already see the options and/or obsession I HAD with it [ Hi my name is Sam I have been clean off Fire Emblem for two years now. It's been a rough ride but I think I can pull through ]
In most game I usually speed through all of the story-line, unless the review tells me the story-line is extremely good but something interested me and the first ten or so  times I read every scrap of dialogue. Then I finally started speeding through it ha ha. I don't know it's something about the way Boyd is cocky and Ike is the calm, composed, passionate leader. Or the way the levels are designed I can't quite put my finger on it but I still think of the game today and how much time I had in it.
