I think Nintendo did a good job re-creating classic games that we loved on the NES. They made those games a lot better by combining all of them into one game: Super Mario All-Stars.

This game is a really good re-creation of classic Mario games because all of the graphics are different. They even include snow on night levels in Super Mario Bros. They never did that in the original game for the NES.

Unlike in the original NES games, there is more than one save file. That way, more than one person can have their own save file instead of two people sharing one.

In Super Mario Bros, the underground music sounds more like the Super Mario Bros. 3 version. That's one of the huge differences in the music.

Another difference in the music in Super Mario Bros. is that a brand-new song was created for the bonus areas. There is also a picture of Mario or Luigi in the background depending on who you're playing as.

A brand-new sound effect was created for beanstalk climbing in Super Mario Bros, and it is almost exactly the same as it is in the NES game Super Mario Bros. 2.

Mario and Luigi are able to "moonwalk" (walk backwards) in all of the games featured here. It's really fun to moonwalk.

There is a lot more color in Super Mario Bros. 3 for Super Mario All-Stars then there EVER was for the NES. Even the "P-bar" was colored red.

Finally, a thunder sound effect and a lightning effect were created for the ship levels.

"Super Mario All-Stars" is by far one of the most creative games for the SNES. If you like classic games and you want to see them better than they are on the NES, you should try playing this.
