Ok so Another awesome game on this more awesome site we all know & love as vizzed.

Dragon ball z games (for me) are always a BIG! Hit or miss. & Buu;s fury Hit the bull eye. This is the 3rd part of the lesser know but still fun games for their times the legend of goku one & two Of which I've owned & played all 3 off. The 1st game was a very basic skill & set up but still had a awesome story line & some cool neat little puzzle like things to move on in the game which was really fun & keep you wanting to play & from that birthed Part two goku gets more famous. The controls get a little bit better & honestly was the birth of that style of controls in games later seen in other big hitters as lord of the rings Game boy advance games. You got a lot more comfortable with it & learnt the story line to the game a bit more (if you haven't play the 1st too the game will still be very fun but I still suggest you do EVEN if you know the Dragon ball z story very well from tv & such.) I understand this is a review of dragon ball z buus furry but it is a series game & I believe to know game 3 you need some background info on the starter games, so sorry.

Dragon ball z buus fury Is not only my fav dragon ball z game (kind a ever even compared to PS/xbox ones) The memory's aside This is in my top 5 favorite games of all time.

Why you ask?

Well simple.

The leveling system is MUCH better & MUCH needed. Keeps you wanted to try.
The item for heal & gear & so on are very cool neat & well thought out & put together. Some hold true to Real life some hold true to Dragon ball z. The gear doesn't just change color or name a little bit even though you can't see it on your fighter as you play they still put a lot of tie into it & it shows.
The skills you (though can basically be max all out by the end if you know what your doing) Are set up really neat As you can play as MANY people & then with the fusions also, I'm just doing some quick thinking guessing there but counting fusions I think theirs like over 10 playable guys & girls you can use. Mostly you can only 4 at the time but the end of the game if I remember you have 6 people of which 4 can do fusions so 8 guys to play as.
Each player has THERE OWN SKILLS!!!!!!!!! Its not just a simple punch punch ki blast party with EVERYONE. Each has there own skills that they bring to the table. Also each has skills from the shows & books that match up very well (each person has 4 skills)
Each skill can be leveled up (I believe twice start at 1 can get to level 3)
Not just changing the power & hit damage it does, but also changing the color size & style of the attack so it keeps it more fun & seems like your progressing WHEN your progressing unlike a lot of long games that just get to boring from not changing it up enough, even though it doesn't REALLY change I guess it gives you the feeling it does & keeps you from hitting that off button.

Each person gets there own story & missions which is really awesome & also keeps the game fun.

the ONLY thing I hate, is to get & start some missions & such you NEED to be at certain levels, & that's not always easy. theres no guide to where to go to level & mostly is a long slow grinding up 20 levels if you don't know where to go, though this is online now not on a handheld so you can just look up that info easily so that's not even a pain anymore..

Another thing I love about this game is some of the hidden Easter eggs (THAT YOU GET TO PLAY)
if you know what your doing you can get a sneak peek into the new part of dragon ball z story line & EVEN GET SUPER SAYING FOUR & THE FUSION FOR THEM O:> WHAT Yes you really can, thought I'll not be saying how lol sorry.

Graphics 9: They look very good & evoule as you play the game.

Sound 9: can get annoying after away but so does any GBA game lol I enjoy the DBZ music though.

Addictiveness: 100 yes 100 not a type oh. Its so fun to replay you find new things each time, enjoy it each time & it only gets funnier as you play over & over & get better at it.

Story 10 ITS DRAGON BALL Z OF COURSE IT GETS A 10

Depth: 10 as this game is long many secrets extras & its part 3 of two other long fun games

Difficulty drops each time you play but finding events things & level grinding will be hard your time around playing blind

Good luck

Very nice review. I agree that any DBZ can be VERY addictive. I own one currently for the PS3, called "Dragonball Raging Blast 2." I've also owned many many other ones as well.

The sound I would personally give a 7, mainly because it IS a bit repetitive as you stated a lot of GBA games do.

Does it really have much of a story? I've played one where it's not a story at all, just new fights and levels and such.

Anyway, nice review
