in this game your objective is to race on several courses and i try to come in atleast 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th to pass the course,mario kart was made in it was released in japan december 1996 and released in europe in 1997.this game was made for the nintendo 64 and was created by nintendo. the game can be played in several different modes such as battle mode mario grandprix and versus and time trial mode in mario grandpix you are trying to race to be first on several different courses each course is 3 laps long whoever reaches the end first is the winner,you get points for each race on each course on each cup and whoever has the highst points is each awarded a trophy fot 1st second and third place. bronze for third, silver for second and gold for first.In Time Trial mode players race around the track by themselves in an attempt to improve their time and set a new record for the course. Versus mode entails two to four players racing head-to-head on a single track without any AI characters, with mobile bombs as hazards.Battle Mode is a multiplayer game with a last man standing objective, where the players attack each other with items. There are four arena-like courses available to compete in each match. Each player begins the match with three balloons attached to their kart. Each time a player is damaged by coming into contact with one of the other players' offending items, the player loses one of his or her balloons. When a player loses all his balloons, he or she is eliminated from the match. The match ends when one player remains, who is declared the winner. In three or four player matches, the first two players' characters eliminated from play will transform into bomb karts. Bomb karts can still be controllable by the player and can be used to inflict damage on the remaining players' characters as a last resort. the game comes with eight playable characters yoshi,mario,peach,toad,bowser,luigi,and donkey kong and wario.
there are also three difficulties easy medium or hard.in my opinion this is very fun game for those who love racing games combined with cartoon characters what makes the game even funner is you can attack others witha variety of attacks as well as speed boosts to catch up in the game you can shoot red goomba shells or green ones or purple spiked ones,there is also a lighting attack that makes every one small but you and you can run them over mushroom are for speed boost and banana peels are for making them spin off the road. the game controls are pretty simple mostly you will use the analog stick or the action buttons to move no hard controls at all. the sound and graphics of this game are absolutely amazing there are no graphic issued or lag at all. overall this is a pretty fun game and i would recommend it for all ages for people who love mario racing games.
