Do we really need a play by play of the score?  It seems EXTREMELY spammy to me. 
Also, most of the Braves players are playing it off that the play was not the reason they lost, but that they committed too many errors.
Still though, come on.  I'm a Cardinals fan and it was a bad call to me.

Woot! Baltimore is going on! So it is officially set the Cardinals and the Orioles fly on to the Real deal playoffs! Yankees will play Baltimore for the Divisional round, while the Nationals play against St. Louis.   I hope the Orioles do well at home and win one in New York to send them Yankee's packing! Tomorrow is Oakland vs Detroit, and Cincinnati against the Giants.  This is going to be an exciting post season I can already tell!

The Detroit Tigers beat the Oakland Athletics 3 - 1 in the first game of that series.

The Reds vs Giants game is on right now in the top of the 3rd and it is 2 - 0 Reds. The Reds Scheduled starter got injured after facing just one batter. It will be interesting to see how that will affect both teams.

I've been trying to turn a blind eye to this, but please stop updating the score whenever something happens. Let the game end, and then you can share the score once. It's very repetitive and spammy to say about 30 words about how a guy scored a run and the game is still going on. A game recap is fine, but it's getting really f***ing annoying.

Ya but I kind of expected Oakland to lose the first game, only because Detroit was throwing Verlander out on the mound. He is widely considered to be the best pitcher in baseball for the past 2 seasons.

I expect Oakland to get more runs in every game this series from now on. That is unless Detroit throws Verlander out there again, which is always a possibility.

Also, Moss almost got a 2 run home run in the 8th, which would have tied the game. The outfielder had his back against the wall when he made the catch. Close, but not close enough.

I feel sorry for Mobouis1; his A's are down 2-0 in a 5-game series. Luckly they are heading home to the rest of the games; but the A's are on "death ground" now (if you haven't read Sun Zhu's The Art of War then you wouldn't know what I'm talking about...no offense.)

Also I hope the Yankees vs O's game isn't canceled tonight...thou I think a doubleheader would be great tv.
