Ktanaqui : SMB Crossover is a flash game. You can find it easily by using Google.

If Fan Games count as PC games... I like to play Sonic fan games a lot. I have some on my Laptop, most part of these games are fun and very well made.

Ktanaqui : Diablo its a medieval RPG ; you have to kill monsters and do quests to get xp. with that xp you can have or increase some special abilities that will make you kill the enemies easier. You earn money too and with that you can buy some armor or other stuff and if you're online you can trade things with other people and make up teams to help you in your quests.

Eddy88 : Oh! Alright, I'll look that up as soon as I get a chance.

Nesbitt : Is it full graphics or just like... picture based?

tessier25 : Hm... is it expensive?

tessier25 : I'll definitely remember that! Thank you for the offer <3

Lumian : I know I have. For awhile, the only thing I did play was Pokemon because that was the only thing that I knew. Then I got into Command & Conquer... then Starcraft, RollerCoaster Tycoon, and so on and so forth. I'm trying to get a copy of Final Fantasy to try and I do have Oblivion to try and play. Oh! and Borderlands.

Ktanaqui : Oblivion is a great game. I modded the crap out of it too. My last Oblivion game had 60 GBs of mods on it. Man, the Elder Scrolls series in general is one of the best series ever. I hear they are making a mod for playing it online too.

This one is easy, lol I play WoW (World of Warcraft) It is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) here is a little bit about it.

As with other MMORPGs, players control a character avatar within a game world in third- or first-person view, exploring the landscape, fighting various monsters, completing quests, and interacting with non-player characters (NPCs) or other players. Also similar to other MMORPGs, World of Warcraft requires the player to pay for a subscription, either by buying prepaid game cards for a selected amount of playing time, or by using a credit or debit card to pay on a regular basis.
To enter the game, the player must select a realm—sometimes referred to as a server. Each realm acts as an individual copy of the game world, and falls into one of four categories. Available realms types are:
Normal – a Player Versus Environment (PvE) realm where the gameplay is more focused on defeating monsters and completing quests, and any roleplay is optional, and player-versus-player fights must be consensual.PvP – an environment where, in addition to defeating monsters and completing quests, open player-versus-player combat is the norm, and a player can be attacked by an opposing faction's player at any time.RP – a variant of PvE, where players roleplay in-character.RP-PvP – roleplay-PvP – a variant of PvP, where players are in-character and cross-faction combat is assumed.Realms are also categorized by language, with in-game support in the language available.

I will now tell you a little bit about my character(toon):-

My main toon (highest level and most played) is a level 85 Human Warrior. That makes me part of the faction called "Alliance" who are in a never ending war with "The Horde" My warrior is known as a tank (He can also dps if specced correctly, he is also a melee class), which as its name suggests, is a character designed to take and mitigate (lower) damage.
Here is a link to his armory page:
 Soulreaperi's armory page.

I prefer PvE (Player versus Environment) but I have been known to do some PvP (Player versus Player)

I have more toons which are known as Alts (alternatives). One of which is my rogue (does melee damage and poison damage), a DPS (Damage per second, it just means that it is a damage dealing class only) class. I prefer to do PvP on my rogue, it is a highly versatile class in how it deals damage.
Here is a link to her armory page:
Kelcee's armory page

I also have one more 85 it is a Priest, which is a DPS/Healing Class. It is a caster which means it casts magic damage/healing. I use him to do something called raiding (I use Soulreaperi to do the same thing, except I use him as a tank obviously)
Here is a link to his armory page:
Gluttony's armory page

There are also restrictions on which kind of weapons and armor a class can wear. The four armor classes are cloth, leather, mail, and plate, and the damage mitigation from physical attacks (melee or ranged I.E. bullets and arrows). Cloth which provides the least amount of protection, is usually reserved for the casters [(the magic dealers) with two exceptions, a Druid (who can tank, melee dps, cast dps, and heal) can wear leather and a Shaman(which can do the same as a druid; melee dps, cast dps, and heal) can wear mail.] Then you have leather which is the next step up and which provides about 5-10% more protection against physical attacks then cloth, it is usually reserved for the melee dps, but as I mentioned before druids have the ability to cast magic damage but can wear leather. Then you have mail, which technically only two classes wear, Hunters (a ranged physical dps, uses bows, guns, and crossbows to deal damage) and Shamans. Hunters also have a pet to help them deal damage or a couple pets can actually tank for them. Last but not least are the plate wearers, which is usually for the tank classes but alas there is an exception to that also lol. Paladins (a holy class that can tank, deal damage, and actually heal) Warriors and Paladins also have the ability to use a shield to further increase damage mitigation, but obviously decreases the damage they do also. A shaman can also use a shield depending on their spec, The two casting specs they have utilize shields for stat increases.

Finally I will name the classes and their roles
There are currently 10 classes however they are releasing a new class (bringing the total to 11) with the new expansion that is due to come out tonight at midnight. Also a thing to remember, all classes have 3 specs (Spec: A talent build suited to a particular party role) (Here is a link that can help you understand what a spec/talent is http://www.wowwiki.com/Talent)

Cloth Wearers:
1: Warlock: A caster who uses demonic magic to defeat their enemies. They are one of 2 classes they have permanent pets, except their pets are demons summoned from hell. They are a pure dps class.
2: Mage: Another pure dps class, they use fire, frost, and arcane magics to burn, slow, and rip apart their enemies.
3: Priest: The only cloth wearer that can heal and dps. They have 2 healing specs and 1 dps spec. They use holy magic to heal and shadow magic to destroy the mind and melt the body and soul.

Leather Wearers:
1: Druid: Literally most likely the most versatile of classes. Their first spec is casting dps, the second one (aptly named feral) is melee dps and/or tanking, and the final one is Restoration a healing spec. Druids also are so in tune with nature that they can switch their forms into animals and/or elements.
2: Rogue: A pure melee dps class, their 3 specs is what decides on how they do their damage, Assassination uses poisons and small fast attacks to wittle their enemies life away, the second one, combat, is as its name implies, uses pure physical damage to deal its damage, they are the master of all weapons in this spec. Then Subtlety, their final spec uses stealth to the max, you wont even see them until its too late and half your life is gone and they only hit you once and then your stunned, and have 3-5 bleed effects ticking your life away while they went back into stealth and all this was done in less than 5 seconds, while you were stunned the whole time, Yeah I know, OP (overpowered).
3: Monk (New class coming out tonight): I actually don't know anything of this class yet

Mail Wearers:
1: Shaman: One of the most versatile classes in the game as they can switch seamlessly from offensive caster to healer to melee DPS as needed, though at later levels they often specialize in one of these roles. Shamans can provide good support to a party, with the ability to step in and fill any role that may be lacking at the moment. Their high burst damage and healing also make them quite good at PvP. They are able to drop stationary totems on the ground which provide a variety of effects, many of which are useful to the entire raid. They are unique in that they can provide complete wipe recovery by self-resurrecting and then resurrecting the rest of the party.
2: Hunter: They are the only class that can effectively use ranged weapons (bows, guns, or crossbows) as a primary source of damage. Very adept at kiting, they have plenty of tools to allow them to avoid melee combat, which is not where their strength lies. Hunters may tame many varieties of beasts to serve as combat pets, which along with an array of scouting, tracking, and survival abilities make them excellent solo characters. The three talent specializations for hunters are Marksmanship, Beast Mastery, and Survival. While all Hunter specializations are considered DPS, they achieve this using slightly different methods: Marksmanship hunters benefit from weapon-based damage bonuses to inflict high burst damage; Beast Mastery hunters have specialized abilities that increase their pet's damage output; Survival hunters have improved traps and shots to keep their enemies at a distance while their Dot's drain HP.

Plate Wearers:
1: Warrior: Close-combat fighters and usually fill the role of primary tank or off tank, as they are able to both withstand and inflict fierce physical punishment and have the most versatile means of generating threat and keeping aggro off other characters. They can also contribute very strong melee DPS when needed. Warrior abilities use rage, which is generated by dealing and taking damage, but decays over time while not in combat. Warriors are highly dependent on their gear, as their ability to deal and take damage is controlled directly by the quality and effects of their weapons and armor.
2: Paladin: Paladins are Holy warriors and are a hybrid class. They can melee DPS, tank, or heal. Paladins also have very strong group support and buff abilities, arguably one of the best buffing and group support classes in the game. They can wear heavy plate armor and carry shields, but are also efficient single target healers, which combine to produce their renowned durability in combat. With talent specialization and equipment selection, Paladins can fill the role of melee DPS, tank, off tank, or healer and excel when called upon to spot-fill all these roles in a group setting. While a Retribution paladin's DPS is slightly less than a pure dps class, they make up for it with their extremely useful utility spells, buffs and auras. Their three talent trees are Holy, Retribution, and Protection.
3: Death knight (Hero Class): The death knight combines martial prowess with dark, necromantic energies. It is the first hero class in World of Warcraft. Having a non-hero-class character at level 55 or above is (the only) prerequisite to be able to create a death knight. Death knights start at level 55 in a new starting area in the Eastern Plaguelands with multiple spells and abilities ready to use. They are a hybrid class, able to tank and/or deal damage. They are a melee class with casting abilities like the paladin, and can raise undead minions. Although they will have minions, they will not be a pet class (unless they have appropriate talent), but will use some of their mechanics. They are the only class to use the rune resource system. It is also notable that death knights have their own talent trees comparable to current classes.

Well I hope my post was informative and meets the standards of the board!

Okay... Nice try All of that was not necessary for this thread, but that's alright. I have not had the opportunity to play WoW and honestly, I don't particularly want to. I do play Star Trek Online which has PvE and all that nice jazz - the PvE's are my favorite. STO's PvP isn't all that great. But when you do participate in PvP it is a lot of fun.

Ktanaqui : Sorry If I went overboard, I figured to go a little above and beyond and not just say what game I like to play, but go into detail about it and give some people some insight into it especially if they have not played it or seen it.

Oh! It's definitely no problem; I enjoyed reading it. I never knew so much about WoW. I just know that I refuse to play it because of the subscription cost.

Ktanaqui : Yeah, I prefer the PC version for just that reason, I like to mod my game (it can add a tremendous amount of hours and replayability to it really). With enough of the right mods, it becomes a completely new and better game (not that it isn't epic on its own).
