The levels are much more bland-looking and uniform in the original, the graphics not as good, the fruit more static. But beyond that it goes into those incalculable little differences in controls and gameplay subleties which you can notice much more easily than you can articulate. And on all fronts "Ms. Pac-Man" comes out ahead.

I enjoy both Pac Man and Mrs. Pac man. Although I played just regular Pac Man when I was significantly younger. I even had a controller that plugged into my computer to play Pac Man. I got pretty good at it, and it was a ton of fun. It wasn't one of those games where you have to save and figure out what you were going to do next. I liked how much of a classic it was.
