Yeah, yhis might be a good solution, enough to prevent people from joining and screwing a session by using save states, but still allow the use of it if necessary. I honestly hope this is implemented, people that join in and abuse save state are really annoying sometimes.

Davideo7 : hey.  I got the netplay item.  I am just waiting for anybody to play Mario kart 64 with me.  at least 2, 3, or 4 players.  I need a little help.

I'm a total noob, how exactly does netplay work? Is there a way I can find people who are currently online right now who want to play? I rarely have a consistent schedule and get on whenever free time dictates so I feel like scheduling appointments to play isn't ideal. Thanks for the help!

My question is can I play net play without opening my own net play session as I don't have 25,000 vizz. Can I simply look for active net play sessions and join or what?

Generation : The netplay page has a lobby with all kinds of users ready to play.

Davideo7 : I was wondering what server to use if I lived in Europe (UK to be exact)? On the server list when I come to create a session, I only see USA and USA L2.

Davideo7 : I have a question as to whether there is a Netplay for the Pokémon games for the GBA? If so could you tell me how to set one up. I never tried the netplay.

mangalover9x9 : Netplay is not supported for handheld systems, or for the MAME (arcade games) currently. Hopefully they are added in the future, but there's no firm plans on when/if they will be added.

To start a session for the systems that support it:

Go to the page of the game you want to netplay.

Scroll down about half way down the page and click the link that says "Click here to Start a New Netplay Session" Then set your session name and choose your server (US L2 Works best) If the link doesn't exist on the game page you are looking at, then netplay isn't supported for that specific title.

You can also join already existing netplay sessions created by other users (if they are set to public) by clicking the session title.

chas2002 : You are going to have to play around with it and see what works best. We no longer have a Europe server because when we did, it was getting minimal use. You may experience lag when playing against other users from the US. But I know some users like daffy_duck1 is from Europe. You could ask him in netplay chat what works best for him.

ddeltaroxx : The download of the rom file may be corrupt, because I KNOW I've played that title on netplay before. You can go into your vizzed directory and delete the rom file. That will force the plugin to re-download it next time you try to play it.

Jordanv78 : Thanks for the info and I hope Netplay is added for the handheld systems especially GBA. I want to do what I always wanted but never could: Complete the entire Pokedex for Fire Red and Leaf Green. I completed every other Pok?mon game with the Pokedex completed. Two more and I will have crossed off the last two Pok?mon games.(Unless they manage to come out with newer versions in which case its back to the pokedex.)

mangalover9x9 : You may already know this but I wanted to throw it out there just in case. For many of the Pokemon games, there exist hacks that allow you to collect ALL the pokemon in the game without having to trade. Maybe you could ask around and see if hacks exist for the titles you are referring to.
